You can make excuses for him but he should be giving us more than what he's currently doing for us....Running around screens and missing shots? Wafer can give us that plus he'll actually attack and with his first step he can get by people....

Dude is done... he just turned 30... he hasn't been in shape yet... like what are you getting paid to do? ... J-Rich can't play man defense... he doesn't hustle for loose balls... he's terrible in transition now... he has no ability to finish in traffic either... his jumper is worse... and on top of that he can't make ENTRY PASSES TO DWIGHT... dude is a walking $26mil waste of space... if this was 23 year old J-Rich, obviously we wouldn't have this problem... he's the kind of player Charles Barkley talks about... you know, the player that loses his athletic ability he solely relied upon and doesn't know how to change his game to be a factor after his prime... that's J-Rich... garbage... Von Wafer and Redick should get all the minutes at SG... J-Rich should gtfo my team

That is seriously his one redeeming quality.

I feel that Anderson is definitely better than he played tonight, so I'm not worried about him. But Jameer is starting to worry me. He's 30, right? Is this the start of his decline?

I've been saying for a while now that we could go out and sign any standard Guard with a jumpshot, and I bet we wouldn't notice any dropoff whatsoever. I was really hoping we would do that this offseason.

Exactly. Richardson gives us nothing that any free couldn't give us at half the price. I was stunned when stupid Otis re-signed him to a multi-year deal at 30, after the mediocre season he had last year, when we should be trying to shed these fat contracts for marginal veterans and get under the cap. Why amnesty Arenas and then re-sign Richardson for 4 years? Why not just clean house? Absolutely makes no freaking sense, Otis.

So was I, man. So was I.

The guy will be 31 in 2 weeks. Why a 4 year deal?

Just think, if we think he's bad now, imagine how he'll be at 35?

I can't believe I'm saying this... but I want to trade for PG who is a starter and can put up 16/6/2 ... Mo Williams... I don't care anymore... Nelson is just not the same.

The most frustrating thing tonight was the fact there was no energy. You are playing a top 4 team in your conference and a team you may face in the playoffs. It should have had a playoff atmosphere tonight, but the Magic came out like they didn't give damn. Davis was really the only guy tonight that I thought played with energy. Yeah Howard had a nice statline, but he sure looked like he was going through the motions most of the night.

Jameer has disappointed me man....I'm not going to blame him for anything other than not playing up to my high expectations.....expected a bounce back year or at least a year a bit better than the previous...It's still early but man he is on a serious downtrend...should of traded him when he had value last season or the one before that but i don't think Stan would of liked that being that stan can control him....I can't believe that i would take Mo Frickin Williams over Meer right now...sad days...sad days...

Just think, a few years ago we would've laughed at the very thought of this trade.....now, not so much.

Things look so bleak, and it honestly feels like we're just peeling the band-aid off reeeaaaallll slow. As bad as this may sound, I'll kind of be happy when we trade Dwight.

I'll obviously miss the guy, but my expectations of the team will be drastically lower as we rebuild. And I don't have to sit up for over an hour after the game because I'm so upset and freaking out about what's going on with him.

Some PG options are Ramon Sessions or Luke Ridnour.
Smart / Micic / D. Wright
Wiggins / Exum / J. Adams
Parker / K. Anderson / Mcdermott
Randle / Vonleh / Stokes
Embiid / Nurkic/ Tavares

This is like our team pre-08/09. We used to always fall behind plans rely on playing catch up. The difference in 09 was the way we came out like we wanted to make every point count. Had similar energy in 09/10 too, but since then it's like the team has lost belief in itself.

If this team doesn't even believe they can contend then guys need to go for fresh faces.

We had great energy and play for about 3 minutes at the beginning of the game and then it disappeared. What's with Stan playing Glen Davis all the 4th with a blown calf muscle or whatever that was? JFC, get a backup C.

Rashard was the heart of the team. The minute he left, we couldn't beat the feakin hawks. Unfortunately for us and him, his talent left him last year.

that finals run year both Shard and Turk were huge for this team, but neither of those guys have been the same since that year.

and unfortunately Stan doesn't seem to want to hand the keys over to any of our current guys the way he did/does with Turk.

You know, maybe it is locker room politics or something, but it sure does seem that in general it is hard for stud young guys to catch the same breaks as the proven veterans on established teams like Orlando. Anderson has been our 2nd best player all year, been huge for us, but has an off night and rides the pine. Meanwhile Jrich is ridden night after failed night, and only loses minutes when Redick is having a 27 PER type of night. I think it is pretty clear that 32 year old JRich is not a core guy at this point, while Ryno and Redick are showing that they can be. Time to make the coaching and strategic switch, locker room politics be damned.

we were deperate for points tonight, jrich was the only player besides dwight doing a little scoring, and redick had 0 points so i think that's why stan stuck with him tonight
