Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XXIV: Offseason Edition
Hmm we didn't even show up to draft camp? That either means we've just got too much on our plate with Dwight to care...or we've decided to trade the pick.
I'm weary about Kendall Marshall. I don't even see him being as good as a Darren Collison let alone a Rajon Rondo, Chris Paul. The point guard's in this draft just don't seem elite. I think they'll be good players, but I don't see any guys that are going to be allstars. With Big Baby and Fran possibly coming over we don't need a big. I want a wing. That has been a weak point for us. Lack of a guy who can drive and create his own shot. Hedo plays like he's 75 years old.
With all the Big men being taken ahead of us, we might have a legit shot at getting the next Danny Granger.Terrence Ross, Terrence Jones, Quincy Miller, Jeff Taylor. Maybe even Harrison Barnes slips a little and we can move up.

I was going through some names of people for HC that have been brought up very little or not at all and wanted to see about what you all thought about these names.
1. Vinny Del Negro - if he is not picked up by Clippers would be be a good fit here?
2. Paul Westphal - granted his record in Sacramento was not great but in my opinion he is a good coach.
3. PJ Carlismo - currently serving a assistant and lots of HC experience. Would he be worth looking at?
I was just trying to throw some alternate names out there compared to the ones brought up each day.

Reporter - How do you feel about your first triple double?
Bo Outlaw - What is that some kind of cheeseburger?

All have had problems dealing with players. We just got rid of a good coach for the same reason. I would rather go with Shaw or give a new coach a shot. I am interested to see how a Phil Jackson spin off works out. Shaw was groomed for this and had the support of Kobe.

NOt worried about us not sending representatives. Come to think of it, we'll be hiring someone who is part of one of the 28 teams who did.

I don't agree that us deciding to trade the pick would be a reason we didn't go to NJ. How can you know the value of the pick for a trade of you don't know the value of the Guy drafted at 19? No matter what we should have scouts at every workout this summer, no excuses.

Yep, the Magic scouts are smiling right now. . . They get paid to do nothing thanks to this organization. Anyway, I'm not really worried about them missing this one.

#NBA News: According to multiple reports, Houston PG Kyle Lowry wants OUT if Kevin McHale and Goran Dragic both return. #Rockets
Thats odd, but I would take him in Orlando in a heartbeat.

**BREAKING NBA NEWS**Source: Magic have started trade "Discussions" with 2 more teams in regards to Dwight Howard #Lakers & get this > #Cavs
This is from a guy named Incarcerated Bob on twitter who is MONEY on his reports when it comes to the NFL, but haven't heard much from him regarding the NBA so not sure how credible he is. VERY credible regarding the NFL tho.

@BBrack93 Magic will ask for Thompson + Lottery pick (Include Hedo & Varajao for salary cap reasons)
Lmaooooo really?
There is 0% chance he resigns in Cleveland.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XXIV: Offseason Edition
So we have Twardzik calling people left and right with the biggest decision we will have had in over a decade (while looking for a world class GM). I want to say that it sounds stupid and not possible but when you know how the magic operate, there is a lot of room for to actually be happening.

Varejao, Thompson, a lottery pick (most likely top 5) AND get rid of Hedo ? That would be a nice haul to start a proper rebuild.

IncarceratedBob is not a legit source, and he is not money with his NFL reports. He throws crap at walls and hope it sticks, and when it does, he boasts about it.

He def did that in the past, but this off season he was spot on with his reports. He clearly has some sources in the NFL, but I highly doubt he has some in the NBA, but we shall see.

Then again, Dwight would never resign there, so this is irrelevant.

Yup.
Unless he fell in love with Kyrie haha.
-5% chance anything with the Cavs happens........unless they get that #1 pick then it bumps up to 5% chance
