Summer League and pre-season it looked like we were grooming Victor to play a big role. Early on in the season though he's played off the ball a lot, had almost no plays run for him and when he does get the ball he seems to be being very careful not to step on anyones toes. Still early though.

I know were supposed to lose but man do I hate it, I can only watch games by myself I get way to frustrated yell and scream at everything no pillows are safe. If I didn't work nights I'd prob die of a heart attack or bursted blood vessels.

I got to see the end of the 3rd and all the 4th but if it were me I'd go to Dipo in the clutch instead of AA, to build for the future have him take the last shot. If he makes it we win if he doesn't hopefully it would drive him to wanting the ball in those situations and being comfortable.

Some other notes around the league. Olynyk with 4 points, 0 rebounds 0 assists in 16 minutes.

In the Wiz/Det game, two ex-Magic had nice games. Ariza with 28/10 and Gortat with 9/9. KCP with 9/1/2 in 28 minutes.

In the NY/Mil game Larry Sanders played 12 minutes and Ante only 4. Thought Ante was the next great thing?

Zeller had 2/4 in 16 minutes.

McLemore is playing as we speak.

MCW will win rookie of the year because not only will he play alot of minutes but he's going to have the ball in his hands the whole game doing stuff with it.

Oladipo is a spectator to the Afflalo show

Yea that's what I'm not understanding. He was playing on the ball and as point the whole time and now he's running as the sg and playing off the ball and looking lost at times. I just don't get Vaughn... Is he trying to fool other teams with playing dipo at the 2 when he played primarily as a point in pre season? I guess we'll see

Agreed. I honestly think Matty being let go was for off camera reasons.

Pretty sure it was due to old age. His mind isn't sharp anymore. He's been making more and more mistakes each year over the past few years.

Welp.
A smart coach once said, "Potential just means you're not good enough yet." Playing on potential is like living on air: It's essential, but if thats all you have, you're eventually going to starve.

Yeah that's true. Didn't think he had hit firing point yet, but he was getting bad.

I'll be watching Harkless closely to see if he makes any other type of impact besides scoring. He needs to get the intangibles part of the game down and become a glue guy. Hopefully he can put it together.

Matty has some serious health problems. He missed several games and there were some he could not talk, like his voice was giving out. It's a shame now we have to listen to Turner for who knows how long.

So Jeff Turner is like what Shaq is to "Inside The NBA"?

Turner is generally a positive, good natured human being but he doesnt have great insight or anything.

Still love Steele though. He's my homeboy
