Well, still, somehow, Rockets scored 139 points in this game.

Yep, scored 45 points in 3rd quater. 82 points in second half. Made 10 threes.

MInny on other hand...37,8% FG , 27% for 3...

I know not all will agree, and I have alluded to this before, but this style of play is just getting so boring to me. Why not just have a 3 point contest featuring each team because that is essentially what I feel like I am watching now. Could be a fill in for Silver's ever so popular mid-season tournament idea (sarcasm).

We need another Shaq and/or Hakeem who just makes these small ball teams pay in the post each time down the floor just to bring a bit more nuance back to the game.

I totally agree with you.

Both Wolves and Hawks have so poorly balanced rosters that it's impossible to fix it in mid season.
Teague SHOULD make Hawks less pathetic but for Minny there is no much hope.

Minny has to trade Covington for a haul right.

Crabbe, Dieng, Covington.

But what should they target in return? Picks? They now need starting PG, starting forward next to Wiggins.

Imo still best solution out of this mess is find a fool to unload Wiggins.

They can try to trade for Paul or Westbrook, but funny enough they would need to add some assets. I have a feeling Westbrook would eat Towns alive.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Draymond is less cocky since he doesn't play next to 3 all stars.

Many people were wondering how he d do if he had his own team, now u have your answer.

He is just a great role player
Suggs, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, Jett
Franz, TDS,
P5, JI, Panda

The MIN fans seem to think Covington will return a lot...I see him more like a Iggy-type. Solid add to a contender, far from a foundation piece, and relatively insignificant to a young, building team that's not contending. Am I missing something?

Would be big peace for any contender.
Plays defense, makes shots, 58% TS .

But i don't think anybody will break a bank for him.

Sounds like he better call Morgan & Morgan and collect more money while not playing. I'm sure they'll ague he could've got another contract.

Guy had car crash and was hit by person who is now charged with DUI.
Indeed his professional career was over before this but let's hope he recovers and enjoys his life.

Parsons suffered “multiple severe and permanent injuries including a traumatic brain injury, disc herniation and torn labrum.”

He'll probably be fine...
Parsons told officers his neck, back and head were injured, but did not wish to be transported to the hospital. He went to the team facility instead, and docs reported he had a concussion and whiplash.

Lawyers trying to get him a fat retirement check from insurance.
