I'm not worried about his shooting just yet. He's below average after two games but not surprisingly so.

I've liked what I've seen in terms of being a floor general and defensive stopper to the point that I've completely changed my mind about having Keyonte or Ausar over him.

Amen and Scoot still look better though.

we knew from the beginning that Black's game isnt exactly ideal for SL. He will look better during the regular season. His shooting still sucks, but he shot 70% from the FT line and 30% from 3 in college so hopefully he can come close to those numbers this season.

I think Black did ok his second game. Shots were not falling but quality of the looks was not that bad. He still went to the rim. Maybe he tried too much to limit turnovers which he accomplished. I want to see more 3s doesnt matter if the scores. Franz was not afraid to miss all those 3s in the SL.

Totally disagree, he’s freaking 4-9 from the free throw line in 2 games. He was a 70% free throw shooter in college, every shooting stat says he can’t shoot and he’s showing it. Why are people having a hard time excepting he’s an awful shooter?

but the comp was honestly unfair.
Giddey was one of the smartest guy even came in nba as rookie.

i've seen with my own eyes him teaching pro players where they have to stay,where to catch his passes,things like this.
at 18 yo in a pro league :crazy:

Black still could have very good QI and feeling for the game,without being that anomaly giddey was.

Giddey is more point guard than SF/PF. OKC can list him as whatever they want but the kid is a guard.

Giddey is more point guard than SF/PF. OKC can list him as whatever they want but the kid is a guard.

He's not really very good on defense and can't stay in front of guards. Your position is who you guard, and he has to guard forwards.

So the kid is definitely a forward.

So, do you think Jokic is a PG or center? He's a center that can pass.

Lol look OKC is a uniq team with a good front office and they are loaded with talent. I don’t care what they list Giddey at, if you’ve watched him you aren’t going to say he’s more of a PF than a PG. Honestly he probably has the size to be able to play sg and sf but he’s gifted with the ball in his hand and can pass. So in the end it honestly doesn’t matter if you tell me he’s a freaking center.
