I had us at 45 wins so we are pretty similar. If the Magic can establish this defensive minded, running team, they can beat some really good teams with their youth and athleticism.

GREAT game. Loved the hustle Anthony Black had too. Stayed in his lane and drove to the basket.

Unbelievable opening night win. This team is good. This team is deep. This felt like the beginning of a breakthrough season for this team. The tide really turned with JI in the third killing Houston’s momentum. He was the player of the game in my view.

Cole was absolutely outstanding tonight. So proud of this dude. I been a Cole supporter from the jump and it hasn't been always easy. He has really worked on his game. Yes his shot was on tonight but there was other things. I saw really good effort on defense and multiple times making the right extra pass. Great game

We are so back!

Caught some of the game in between teaching. Didn't think I'd have a class of students losing their minds over a Jon Isaac block but here we are.

Loved what I saw. Echo the thoughts of others that this season has a really different feel to it. Haven't felt this level of optimism surrounding us for years. Long may it continue!

The Rockets continue to be far more dangerous when Sengun has the ball compared to everyone else. As a defense, I would much rather have Jalen Green isolate and take mediocre shots than have to deal with Sengun in the high (or low) post.
