Great win though. Hopefully we hand Luka an L in a few days.

Franz had a great game. He played with the second string more than any of the other starters.

Our bench should be better than the Lakers though. Franz was attacking AD all night and was getting his shots blocked like crazy. When the Lakers gave us a minor scare in the 4th Franz was out there with the starters attacking AD and having his shots swatted away. Not trying to crap on the guy, but the criticism is fair.

This game was huge for so many reasons. Paolo blew the doors off the place. Goga looked like a force. Anthony Black more than held his own (those multiple made three pointers must have made Fultz wince), Mo Wagner was flying around the court, again this team attacks the glass and profits from it…

This is an extended audition for Black and Goga and one game in I don’t know if it could have gone better. It’ll be interesting to see how the next game goes to see if this was a fluke, and I’ll have my popcorn ready.

And damn, Suggs is such a fan favorite right now. Every good team needs a guy like him and it’s so great to see him blossom.

Cheers gang!

Paolo and Franz will score way more with Goga and Black in the lineup.

The floor spacing was glorious. You could see how much it opened things up.

His defense next to Suggs? Chefs kiss.

When fullly healthy we might need to go with a 15 man rotation...everybody does something well....i'm kidding of course, but it seems like all these guys have earned some minutes.

I still can't believe we won the #1 draft pick last year and then to top that off we actually drafted the best guy who was #3 in the mocks. After the past decade of trash it just feels unreal. Go Magic!

You forget... in the 21 draft we have a #8 pick who in a redraft a lot are picking at #1.

Ok... we will face Luka and a C that swats the ball like crazy. I liked Franz gping to the rim even though he gets blocked. I hope he can do that against Lively.

Great win, these opposing teams seem to stay in it by hitting really tough shoots against the magic. This was a huge win. The next 3 are going to be challenging. But let's keep this rolling. Go magic

thelead wrote:I was done with Fultz after his last game anyway but actually getting to see a big that gets blocks... what can we realistically get for WCJ? I do think he's a valuable piece and is a good player but maybe we can shore up other deficiencies by trading him.

A lot of teams could use WCJ (including us). I keep thinking SAS could put him next to Wemby for some muscle and still young enough to grow with him…I don’t think it gets Vassell, but maybe Keldon Johnson+

WCJ would be a better fit than Jarrett Allen, next to Mobley- who should be a Center. Cleveland has a great C playing PF and we have a great PF playing C…add salary filler (okeke)

Then my usual favorite dance partner, POR. Ayton is a monster, but limited to the painted area. WCJ’s versatility would make them a feared frontcourt with Grant…send back Williams (who can’t play with Ayton). Add Fultz, DEN pick, Okeke and Simons to ORL and you’ve got a fair deal.

IF we still like Goga 20 games from now, then that's going to be an awkward decision.
