People always tend to find the negative about a good win but it is a discussion board and you got to talk about something i suppose....But let's lighten the mood with one of my favorites

FWIW I wasn't saying anyone was or wasn't relevant - just pointing out the hypocrisy of such comments on an Internet discussion board.

Observations:

We are in our rightful place in the standings.
We own Atlanta.
There is no way they should have lost this game.
Dwight is the MVP.
I don't think the Anderson experiment will last much longer.
Even though we are playing well, this team needs to make one more move to put us over the top. We need just one more guy, a playmaker, someone who can penetrate and create his own shot. Obvious and unlikely names are Paul, Anthony, and Nash, but I feel we can improve by adding a lower level guy with quickness and ball control. Not sure who that would be, but we need it.

Missed the game and assumed I would wake up to an L. Nice coaching win for Mr. Man!

Orlando had a worse FG%. Missed 9 FTs. Shot the 3-ball horribly. Were out rebounded. And had less assists and blocks. But Orlando only turned it over 10 times. Those extra possessions were how Orlando could be outplayed but still win.

And the W is all we will soon remember :)

By the way, I can't be the only one who hates those silver guard rails the circle the lower bowl. They're so pointless and block off the fans, its takes away from the crowd on tv.

1 game statistics in the long ass 82 game season means nothing.

Only thing that matters is possibly we get 57 wins instead of 56.

Divisional games are always important but their significance is often overlooked early in the season. When it's April and we're only 2 games ahead of Atlanta jockeying for playoff positioning, it'll be nice to own the series tie-breaker against them rather than be out of the driver's seat.

This.

And if Atlanta keeps up the pace, they could easily be a 57~ win team, as well. That's pretty close to us.

Atlanta looks worlds better than last year but I still think if Nelson played we win that one by 20. Duhon stifles the offense, its easy to for 5 guys to defend 4 guys on offense knowing Duhon basically will NOT shoot or drive. Is it too early in the season to hate him?

I think we can all agree that Duhon is terrible. That's why J-Will was in there to finish the game.

I'd much rather see White Chocolate take back the backup PG spot and move Duhon to 3rd string where he belongs. There isn't much that Duhon offers (except maybe defense?) that Williams can't do and most things Williams does better. In addition, Williams is more familiar with Stan's offense and the guys on the floor. It should have been his to loose but his knee set him back.

Nope it's not . The guy is a 0 on the offensive end. He can't shoot, can't create for others and can't drive. He's just a awful player and person. The guy shouldn't even be in the league

Wow Lewis is getting on my nerves lately
He was always one of my fave players but this season he is always MIA...

even when he gets ball hes just passing back instead of posting up or pull a jumpshot as he is taller then many players (when he is at sf)
he is only taking a shot when he is wide open...and thats rarely these days...

seems like this is Lewis list after each game

Hey guys,

I don't like to post during games, but I just reviewed the last 7-8 pages of this thread and thought I'd add my $.02 on some of the things being discussed...

-- Yes, it's too early to be hating on Duhon IMO. I didn't like the signing to begin with, but very few teams will run out PGs in the 4th quarter who are even less athletic than J-WIll. Atlanta was kind enough to oblige us on a night where we didn't have Jameer, but most teams' closers will be able to exploit J-Will's defense.

-- We are supposed to expect to beat the Hawks, so this win isn't exactly cause for celebration, but it is nice to know that Dwight and Vince can give us what we need against a legit veteran playoff team when all else goes wrong (no Meer, terrible 3-pt shooting, Hawks hitting tough shots).

-- If I didn't care what people have to say in response to my posts, then I would just keep a diary. However, because I want to engage people in constructive conversation about my favorite basketball team, I post on a message board that exists specifically for that purpose.

Adonis; You're such a joke. Shut up and go sit in a dark corner of your room twiddling your thumbs. Who posts on a board if they dont care what other people think? You're a tool.

Nice game by Dwight last night, and Vince stepped up huge late.
