exactly how?

JR more athletic, can drive and create his own shot, the type of player that could get hot and go for 30+ in a night. JJ is none of those things.

JJ brings intelligence to the table, players harder on defense and knows his role better. JR Smith is more talented than Redick, but I'd take JJ every day of the week.

Intelligence, i give you. Harder and on defense and knowing his role, that is strictly from Stan's coaching, which JR could learn the same.

renaldo balkman is getting cut from knicks for JR, don't know much about his game but if he clears waivers maybe we should offer him a vet min... looks like he'd be a nice defensive addition for the back of the bench, particularly if Q or Earl go anywhere.

Ryan Anderson + Jameer + Clark For Nash + Lopez.

Hedo For Jackson.

Or we can lose to the Hawks again in the 1st round.

JR would be a lateral move only. He is worse on Defense and couldn't break from the bench in Karls system for 6 years. Annointing him a star here before even seeing him on the court would be an insult to JJ. Jr could come in and be completely lost and then burried on the bench. He is a high risk, high reward player. He would frustrate the hell out of Stan.

But, I like JR. If either JRich or JJ were moved, then hell yeah. Otherwise, JR would ruin team chemistry because he always complained in Denver. We don't need complainers this season.

What about JJ/Duhon for S.Jax and Jennings?

They know jennings isn't sticking around and JJ can be an expiring. Maybe throw in a guy like liggins or ish if they need additional feel good filler.

Don't think Bucks are willing to let Jennings go for JJ. PG's are harder to come by.

Please stop, Jennings is a borderline all-star right now... and if they wanted an expiring they would just let Jennings and Jackson both walk after next season... DUHON LOL.

"Maybe throw in a D-Leaguer to soften the blow" Lol...wow.

I want to see Anderson perform in the playoffs before I trade him for a three and a half year rental (if we can re-sign him). As for SJax, I'm fine with Hedo tbh.

who said he was a star? JJ certainly isnt, except for the number of people on here that vastly overrate him. I merely said he is a player that gives the team something it doesnt have, someone that can create offense for himself.

If JJ could be moved in a package for a really good player, I would say JR can be the perfect replacement.

No Ryan isn't the least of our worries, he's our second best scorer and he's notorious for being shut down in the PO's because of the lack of versatility in his game. We would need him to get points off of offensive rebounds and didnt show promise against teams like Boston, or Chicago who we could face assuming we get to the second round. It's critical for him to get going in the PO's because we really have no other scorers.

He's notorious for being shut down in the playoffs?

Ryan has only played in the playoffs twice. Only last year did he play significant minutes during the playoffs. Yes he struggled, but so did everybody else. Let Ryan establish a sample size in the PO's before we judge him. However, I do agree that he needs to improve his inside game.

i would prefer JR over JJ off our bench not b/c i think hes the better player but because he can better create for himself. When we put out a lineup of duhon davis and Q we need a go-to scorer out there.

oh well that ship has sailed and he joined the knicks. i think he would of came here if otis offered him the most money

I think JR wants to play minutes too and Stan won't give him that many with (3) other guards in front of him that know the system better.

+1 on this. Ryan deserves a chance to prove himself in the PO's imo. I also feel people are overrating Jackson a little bit.
