What do you call this? You are saying that if we lose Dwight we are basically done. If that is not wiping his ass then I do not know wtf is.

we are not getting free agents in 2013 around bynum+ryno core. it is even doubtful that we could resign bynum if he could stay healthy. statistically, any pick other than top 5 has a very little chance of being an above average starter (meaning 15-20 per).

but none of these really matter. if we loose dwight, we are not gonna be beating or the chicago for the next 6 seasons. THEN we can look to rebuild. we would be lucky to stay at around PHX or Utah level in between.

Orlando is a very attractive place for free agents.

With a great front court of Bynum and Anderson, I'm sure a lot of free agents would be interested in the Magic. I guarantee it.

i would rather trade dwight to dallas than to see nets or the lakers fans happy and celebrating.

Even with Kobe chucking 30 shots a game?

David Lee finds a way to get his while playing with Monta. I don't think Kobe's 24 shots per game are what kills Bynum's value. It's his attitude.

And Dwight's attitude is so much better? Look where he has put this franchise? This is worse than Lebron and Melo COMBINED.

What's the last big name free agent we got without overpaying?

Tracy had a nice contract, and so did Hill.

That was 12 years ago and we basically gave max contracts to a guy who was averaging 15-6-3 and an injured guy. We had no way to know Hill would basically miss 4 years, but we kind of overpaid McGrady.

T-Mac, Grant Hill, Tim Duncan was going to sign here because he loved it. Then after we drafted Dwight, we've been in cap hell trying to put a team around him. If we would've pulled a Miami and cleared cap space, sacrificing a season of course, I'm sure big free agents would've loved to come here.

how old are you?

i am pointing at a reality. i am not saying we cater to dwight's caprices or reward his irrational behavior.

If Bynum could average 20 and 13, he would. Sorry.

Dumb logic. He is the third option in that offense. He's starting to surpassed Gasol because of his stellar play but Kobe still eat first.

I don't care about other teams and their fans anymore, this would be the best move for the Magic franchise.

ehmjay1 wrote:No need to go into complete rebuild. We have good pieces, and our team is constructed to work around a center. I say trade for Bynum, its the best we can do right now. Eventually over the off-season focus on getting rid of Baby and J-Rich's contracts and prep for the 2013 free agency.

Step 1: Trade Dwight and Baby to LA for Bynum and Odom TPE straight up with a 1st round draft pick or two, while Duhon and a future (protected) pick goes to ATL for SF/PF Marvin Williams.

Step 2: In a seperate deal (agreed upon as part of the D12 trade) LA trades the rest of the Odom TPE to take on Quentin Richardson.

Step 3: Use part of the TPE and a 1st and 2nd Rounder to trade with CLE for PG Ramon Sessions.

PG: Jameer Nelson 5'11 199 - Ramon Sessions 6'3 190
SG: Jason Richardson 6'6 215 - JJ Redick 6'4 195
SF: Hedo Turkoglu 6'10 230 - Marvin Williams 6'9 240
PF: Ryan Anderson 6'10 240 - Marvin Williams 6'9 240
C: Andrew Bynum 7'0 295 - Daniel Orton 6'10 270

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=72rhz56

That team is at least equal to what we are and we gained immediate salary cap space and keep our 2013 flexibility with all of the big money deals either already gone or expiring at that time.

D rose on Chicago radio today.

1. Current makeup of the team can win championship
2. Doesn't know why D12 wouldn't want to come here
3. He would be willing to share spotlight with D12, but you would have to ask him why he doesn't want to come here
4. Also said you never know, about some trades going down. And he hasn't talked to Dwight yet.

Martins has improved the franchise’s relationship with Howard, multiple sources told Yahoo! Sports. But as one source talking to Martins and Howard said: “That’s great, but [Dwight’s] still going to leave.”

Said another official, who has been involved in deal talks with Orlando, New Jersey and the agents in the process: “Dwight is going to [expletive] them, and that will be especially true if he doesn’t even ask for the sign-and-trade on July 1, because he wants Brooklyn to keep assets.”

No dice. Chicago isn't glamorous enough, he needs the bright lights.

Wait, Woj is saying that the only reason the trade isnt going through is because we wont take on Jackson's contract? Huh? Pretty sure they would since its Dwights buddy. Therefore i take this article to the bathroom to wipe my ass with.
