I still don't understand how Stan deliberately sabotages the team.

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
The 3 finalists for the #Orlando #Magic coaching job indeed are Michael Curry, Lindsey Hunter & Jacque Vaughn.

You are gonna have to elaborate on that.

I think he meant that if Stan didn't call out Dwight in that interview, then Dwight would have a much better chance of signing a long term deal here. But it is a fact that that crazy day sent this franchise into a tail spin.

I maintain that he specifically had to be fired after he made those comments. No way he could possibly have been retained after in effect firing at both Dwight and Management. But I'm not sure I would call that 'deliberately sabotaging the team.'

I wonder how all of you would react if you were told by someone higher up in your company that you would be canned in two months because someone (Dwight) don't like the way you do your job. Do you just sit there and do your job while waiting to get the axe or do you let people know that you think it is bull crap that you don't have a chance to defend yourself?

I agree that was stupid, but he definitely wasn't deliberately sabotaging the team.

That's different than calling a press conference and announcing it.

Please, you can't defend what SVG did here. In a high profile position there are some things you don't do, and airing out your dirty laundry versus your star player, well, it's pretty high up on that list.

Stan lost me for good with Duhon. He even flip flopped "Dwight style" on whether Ish would get backup mins over The Dunce.

What exactly are the Magic doing to Dwight that is wrong? He wanted a trade, so they are trying to trade him. I don't understand

Yea, RDV only cares about money. That must be why he has done nothing but spend out the ass the last 6 years to try to win. And Orlando not checking in on Dwight? Dwight doesn't even want to be here, why would they check up on him or even call him but a couple of times?

Please.

1) He didn't call a press conference. It was a routine coach interview after practice.

2) He didn't announce anything. He just truthfully answered a question that he was repeatedly asked during that interview that he repeatedly deflected.

His intentions were not to throw anyone under a bus, just answered a yes or no question. I think some people need to watch the interview one more time. It's not as menacing and deceitful as some of you make it out to be.

If those messages from twitter are true than anyone who thinks dwight could be convinced to stay are crazy.

Also it looks like he is setting up for the "my back is not ready to play" excuses.
