I'm not too worried about either of them. I'm still worried about Hedo. In shape or not he could still be declining. Hopefully it's not too much though. He could still be a good player for us.

I might be in the super minority and I could be wrong for wanting this but I'm still hoping we make the playoffs. I just don't want to see us lose. I'm happy if we don't though, it doesn't matter to me.

What media reports? He's not in "fantastic shape". He's fatter than last year.

John Denton @JohnDenton555
#Magic just completed their first workout of training camp. Session ended with spirited defensive drill and running when FTs were missed.

Dan Savage @Dan_Savage
The @Orlando_Magic ran an interesting drill at the end of practice, you miss a free throw and all your teammates run an up and back.

i'm not concerened about davis's weight. one of his strengths is pushing people around under the basket. its not like if he lost weight he would be dunking on people, plus we have plenty of depth to give him rests.

vucevic looks too skinny. i see him as a first big off the bench on a contending team. if we draft a defensive center he would be a great backup pf/c.

John Denton @JohnDenton555
#Magic Jacque Vaughn said he thought practice had faster pace than players expected. 90 min, 1 water break, quick transition between drills.

John Denton @JohnDenton555
#Magic Vaughn said team will work harder and not necessarily longer. Models practice after Roy Williams with every minute accounted for.

Where are people getting that baby he came in heavier? If anything he looks the same but I didn't expect him to lose a ton of weight, part of his game is pushing people around under the basket. Overreaction, he'll be fine.

I've always thought that Vucevic would make an excellent PF. He'd definitely have a height advantage over most PF's and he doesn't have to deal with the stronger centers of the game. And he'd have the ability to shoot over most PF's.

I think if we're keeping Afflalo long term, I'm looking at the centers in this year's draft and hoping they're really good. Isaiah Austin and Nerlens Noel are 2 guys I hope have good years. Lesser of Noel since he's a Wildcat.
