Mario gives us a ton of flexibility. He can play next to Evan and instantly double our firepower from deep. His growth and ability to play SF now makes it a much deeper position. If Gordon is struggling, Mario can come in and spike the offense. Additionally we can rest Ibaka, and run a very nice small rotation of Augustine/Evan/Mario/Gordon and Bizmack. That lineup could prove to be highly effective for when we need to cut into a lead and make runs.

Man. I hope Mario and AG play alot together. If they grow into all-stars we have a chance to be really good. They seem to have a good connection. That bounce pass dunk last year proves it to me. You don't throw that unless you really trust the guy.

Here is my question though. I love me some Evan but I don't see us riding Evan at 2 to a championship anytime. What if Mario looks really good this year. Do we try and get rid of Evan? I always preferred AG at the 4 which getting Biz, Ibaka and having Vuc sucks to me.

Elf
Evan
Mario
AG
Vuc or Ibaka

That's always been my preference.
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

Future Championship lineup.

Ibaka/Biyombo
Vuc/Biyombo

I agree with Hogified05... I like Evan a lot... but if Mario bursts on the scene...you can't hold him back because of Evan. MagicStarwipe... I would looooooove your All-Star Prediction to occur. haha I do expect them to take a big step forward this season... and this could become one of the best seasons and most reinvigorating seasons we've had in a while! Gonna make a name for ourselves once again.

Anyone consider a lineup of AG as the primary ball handler along with Evan and Mario playing the 1 and 2? (For more spacing on the wing)

Run and gun lineup

I actually like this better with Evan and Mario being the primary ballhandler, than EP. Don't get me wrong, its unconventional, but I think its a better fit with the Ibaka Biyombo frontline because of the lack of offense and spacing.

Watching the Croatia/Argentina game right now.

Bogdanovic still has the greenest green light I've seen in quite some time.

Mario really needs to stop committing these baffling fouls 80 feet from the basket.

He follows it up by chasing down an offensive board and hitting a nice running hook shot.

Mario with a pure looking three, nothing but net. Follows it up with a heat check two that misses short.

5 points so far.

Croatia is not really good! How do you find any minutes for Ukic? He's like Chris Duhon...

Their ball movement is terrible without a decent point guard out there.

Their centers are bad too. I think I read that they only made the team due to injury.

The offense is hideous. A lot of chucking and iso play.

I'm shocked that they beat Greece and Italy.

I'm actually rooting for them to lose, so Mario can hurry up and come to Orlando and workout with his new players!

17 points so far...best scorer on this awful Croatian squad
You can see that he is few levels above everyone else on the court athletically

Who would win out of Croatian vs 76ers in a 7 game series?

Its like their coach picked only one game to watch to make his decision and watched one of the games he went off against us and said wow Euro Kobe need to force feed him lol.

76ers. You guys need to know just how strong the NBA :)
Saric is 1st or 2nd best player of the Croatian NT and he would probably be 7 player in the sixers.
The starting 5 would hold their own, but after that there is a shapr drop in quality.
That doesnt make Croatia weak. The team is just fine for FIBA competitions its the NBA that is too strong.
