What are your guys' opinion on Markelle's return tonight?

He is a passer and playmaker. Which we do not have on this team. He is not a scorer like Suggs or Cole. He had 4 assists tonight. But also 0 for 4 from FT line. His form seemed to change a bit than last season.

Except spacing the floor and shooting, he is very efficient tonight. He can make others around him better.

But he is not going to create space for Franz and Paolo

As a fan of his... he is unplayable if his shot is worse than it was last year.

It is a reference from what Dejounte said about Paolo during their “beef” the summer before his rookie year.

His return looked hideous. He's damaged goods and physically handicapped where he cannot perform certain basketball actions. He's a niche roleplayer at this point.

So proud of Houstan’s development. Now he needs to do this multiple times. We already have his replacement drafted in Howard and the clock is ticking. Decent defense and a solid three is all we need and he delivered tonight.

There is nothing wrong with having two 3 point shooting threats in the group.

Lol... i read comments from ATL that had me rofl.

1.) Wow.. the Orlando Hairlines are fighting a losing battle there

2.) Guards should stop that " working out with Curry over the summer" to improve their shots. Teams need their guards to start working out with Suggs over the summer to improve their teams chances of winning games.

I agree with you Fultz didn’t play a bad game today but he just doesn’t do what the magic need which is shoot. With Paolo and Franz here his playmaking has no real purpose on this current team. He needs to be traded.

Remember when "Houstan should not have a roster spot" was an actual discussion a month ago??

It's very clear his shot is better than Jett's at the moment in terms of just in-game readiness, it's kind of unfair to ask that from a rookie too.

He just needs a team where he gets more minutes and he is an All Star, this season or next.

I am not trying to disagree with you. But tonight, I thought Markelle played better than AB plus Markelle is a good defender also.

He is definitely an upgrade over AB at this point.

Regarding his future, I just do not know, man. Luckily I am not the GM. But I am a fan of his. I still think he was the NO.1 pick for a reason and that was why we got him. I know I know. He was, was. Not anymore.

But hey. Several weeks ago, Caleb even couldn't get PT. Give Markelle a chance and see what he can do.

I do think that Fultz played better than Black but Fultz is almost 6 years older if I remember correctly and black is a rookie so that isn’t really saying much

We have seen what Fultz has done, it’s been 7 years now man. He is not changing. People hoped the same for a AG. At some point you need to realize he is what he is, that number one pick was years ago. He no longer fits.

This should be easy decision for the GM, Fultz shouldn’t be here next season.

It was just a few games ago when he went 0-5 from threes and everyone wanted to sent him down to the G-league.
