Said another official, who has been involved in deal talks with Orlando, New Jersey and the agents in the process: “Dwight is going to [expletive] them, and that will be especially true if he doesn’t even ask for the sign-and-trade on July 1, because he wants Brooklyn to keep assets.”

time to move him. drive up the price and hopefully NJ will offer lopez marshon okur and 1st so we can get this over with.

Dwight will be absolutely hated here, I can't believe he would do this.

If Bynum could average 20 and 13, he would. Sorry.

Dumb logic. He is the third option in that offense. He's starting to surpassed Gasol because of his stellar play but Kobe still eat first.

My logic is that he isn't better than Dwight, so why would we expect the same numbers from him? In our system Dwight is basically a 21-14 guy for his prime. Are we suddenly going to speed up the pace when we get a less athletic center? Are Big Baby and Ryan going to suddenly shoot less? Will we get a PG that gives him easy looks right at the rim? Kobe may shoot a lot, and Gasol may still be the 2nd option, but Bynum is generally single covered (the appeal of the twin towers) and he doesn't really punish guys now.

While Alex Martins is on his knees begging Dwight to stay, Otis is sitting in the corner twittling his thumbs saying "let me know when you want me to call NJ"... with a troll face.

The Magic showed there hand with the tampering stuff in December. I have a strong feeling that there going to try and block him from signing there by getting Stern involved.

aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Wait, Woj is saying that the only reason the trade isnt going through is because we wont take on Jackson's contract? Huh? Pretty sure they would since its Dwights buddy. Therefore i take this article to the bathroom to wipe my ass with.

A proposed three-way trade between the Magic, Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks, which would send Andrew Bogut to Golden State and Monta Ellis to Orlando won’t happen unless Milwaukee also finds a team to take Stephen Jackson. And the Magic are hesitant about accepting Jackson’s contract, which has one remaining year worth $10 million, unless they’ve been assured Howard will re-sign.

how old are you?

i am pointing at a reality. i am not saying we cater to dwight's caprices or reward his irrational behavior.

I am 35 years old - Thanks for asking. I have had Magic Season Tickets for 7 years. Where you at?

You want to bow down to him.... and every god damn trade scenario that comes up you are one of the first to shoot it down.

Face the fact Jack.. Howard has F-d this team up. He demanded Big Baby and look how that turned out... He has demanded a trade since day one of this season... The little prick had the balls to say that he would love to play for Miami (Our In State Arch Rival Team) - That's complete and utter BS.

You can see at the games that his teammates and coach want NOTHING to do with him. You can tell that everybody wants him gone because they are sick and tired of this crap. We have players who want to be here who give 110% each night and Dwight just lollygags around and laughs when he misses crucial free throws, etc.

We are the 5th best team in the NBA and Dwight is STILL throwing this franchise under the bus.

He is turning into a piece of **** and this is getting even worse than Lebron.

He is holding our franchise hostage while getting a kick out of it on the side. All of this is fun and games to Dwight and that is not someone I want on the team that I have a passion for since the first game ever played in 1989.

I am sick of this crap. If you cannot see that he is gone at the end of the season perhaps you should take your head out of his ass and see that we need to at least get something for him instead of NOTHING.

I think it was more along the lines that we aren't going to take on Jax contract unless Dwight won't opt out.. which I don't blame them. Last thing we need is bad contracts on a Dwightless team..

Oh for **** sake.

He created this account 4 months ago and decided to make this his first post.

You're right. It took me 4 months to get the courage up to post and now I'm getting made fun of. I just wanted to fit in.

In all seriousness, I'm aware that trade would never happen. I was half joking, but in all honesty, you would rather have Bynum or Lopez if we were forced to trade Howard?

I would personally want Rondo and cap flexibility for Howard. Then we'd have an elite, young PG that can also attract free agents. Again, that's if we're forced to trade him. I'd rather hold on to him and try to make a deal for someone on draft night if we had to.

but none of these really matter. if we loose dwight, we are not gonna be beating or the chicago for the next 6 seasons. THEN we can look to rebuild. we would be lucky to stay at around PHX or Utah level in between.

Orlando is a very attractive place for free agents.

With a great front court of Bynum and Anderson, I'm sure a lot of free agents would be interested in the Magic. I guarantee it.

not so attractive anymore.

1994-99 it was.

Brand new arena, great city, Florida weather, etc...

It is still very attractive.

That's the important part here. None of this makes sense if Dwight don't commit.
