I think the big race for us besides our obvious slot is between Phoenix and LA.

Lakers going down to the 3rd most ping pong balls instead of the 2nd most would be huuuuge. We need Phoenix to lose and LA to win.

If we're in range to draft Issac/Smith we'll be in great shape.

We are 3.5 games back from the 13th pick in the draft. Imagine going through this season and winding up with the 13th pick.

We are in a very precarious spot. Yeah, we are currently fourth...but a short lived, decent run would have us slide to the double digit range. If the first two games with Ross are any indication...I actually think it is more likely that we finish 10-12 than Top 5. It wouldn't take much and a lot of other teams seem fully committed to the tank. We are only 2 games out of sliding to 10.

Why won't our organization embrace the tank? :dontknow: :banghead: :banghead:

Probably because our GM feels that he's on the hot seat and would like to save his job. Also, our coach isn't exactly a "tank" coach.

Oh and recently Hennigan said that playoffs are still the goal. Vogel reiterated this sentiment, while Martins said something along the lines of hinting at getting a top pick in the draft and that Hennigan (and everyone else) would e evaluated at seasons end. The fact that he didn't give Hennigan a vote of confidence, to me suggests that they're ready to move on.

Good night for the Tank with Dallas and Minny winning. NY almost pulled one out against Toronto as well.

The head to heads against NY, Philly, and SAC loom large!

I'm pretty concerned about the tank. We need a few Portland-style losses against teams in and around us.

Shame the Knicks didn't pull out the win last night.

If the Magic do end up tanking this year, then that means Henny truly is finished in Orlando.

My issue, is IMO Henny was only been doing what Alex & DeVos have asked of him. Try to make the playoffs.
I believe that Henny hasn't had any power to build the team the way he would want.
I don't think the Skiles hire was his (pretty positive about that)
I don't think trading of Harris was his.

I really think Martins should be out if Henny is out.

Henny tanked for the last 5 years building this team his way and we have little to show for it.

I'll disagree. We could have tanked better. Most years we only tanked after December. Put butts in the seats the 1st half, tank the 2nd half.

I am sorry the Magic players haven't worked their entire lives to make it to the NBA so they could be the laughing stock of the NBA.
