I feel like Paolo really needs to be more ready to grab the ball if he knows he's about to smash it off the front rim that hard.
He seemed surprised by how hard it bounced off.

Why did we go for a 3?
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.-John 3:16

So much to say.
The Magic opened with a great first half. Then they blew it in the 3rd, kept it close in the 4th and they have a situation where they have two fouls and The Mavs get 4 FTs and the ball. That really cost them.
Then again, so many twists and turns. The loss is the thing that hurts the most though. Basketball is 48 Minutes.

Did you watch the play?
If not...
Paolo intentionally missed the FT by smashing the ball off the front rim. It hit so hard that it almost bounced out to half court. Franz ran it down and threw up a desperation heave.
Wasn't anything they intended to do.

Franz panicked. Clock started ticking and he had to chase the ball and still get a shot off. He could have passed it but he panicked. Can't blame him too much there.

When is the NBA going to do something about this "fouling when up 3" nonsense?
Nobody wants to see that

Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

Frustrating loss. That 3rd quarter was an absolute nightmare. I just can't understand what the endgame is with Isaac and at this point, I'm tired of caring about it.

I have NEVER seen a player shoot 4 FTs and the tram keep possession in all my years watching the NBA.
Can someone enlighten me?

Game was lost after one of the worst 3rd quarters in franchise history. Complete disaster. Just giving games away thru stupidity and fear.

Another bad loss. Suspect this loses 60% of its remaining games. Feels like the last few years all over again.
If you see something suspicious, say something suspicious.

I'm hard pressed to blame him.
Franz grabbed the ball with his back to the basket like 35 feet from the bucket with 1.9 seconds left.
*Maybe* he could have dribbled once to try and get closer, but Williams and Kleber were right on Banchero so there wasn't really a pass to be made.
