It's less this and more just me being annoyed with the incessant complaining about the past that keeps happening in the present.

We get it. You don't like how they've approached certain things. I don't like some/a lot of the things they did either.

But for goodness sake every single thread doesn't need to turn into "well you know if they had just addressed this exact think that I think they should have addressed sooner than now!" and it just makes my eyes glaze over.

I just want to sit around and shoot the breeze with my friends during the first Summer League game and two minutes into it we have people going...

WHY DIDN'T THEY TAKE RAYNAUD INSTEAD OF THIS FAT FRENCH BUST?!

And it's just like, c'mon man. Have fun with the team. They're going to be good. The negativity over what they did/didn't do over the last four years just wears me out

Look man. I can't tell you how to post on a message board. You're not breaking any rules and you're entitled to feel whatever you want to feel about whatever topic. And if it came off like I was trying to tell you what to do, I apologize because that wasn't my intention.

And the silliest part about all of this is that I don't even really think too highly of Weltman much myself.

But it also seems at least relatively likely that this upcoming season is going to be the best season they've had in like the last 15 years since Dwight's apex.

At some point aren't we kind of past some of this "THREE YEARS AGO THEY DIDN'T DO THIS ARGHHHHHH" stuff?

Shouldve wouldve couldve...

I, along with HowardMass, was wrong about Bouknight

However

I, along with eyriq, is/was/am bout to be right about Keyonte

Seriously its a crapshoot. Just enjoy the ride. Forget the bad memories and reminisce fondly about the good ones.

I still don't see anything special in Keyonte George. Shoot first SG with crappy efficiency and poor defense on crappy team. Forced into "point guard" roel for tanking purpose.

Cole Anthony on 22-60 Magic team had copy past identical numbers, 39% FG, 34% for 3, 5,7 apg, 2,6 TO around 16 ppg

I think he has that IT factor. I think he can contribute to a winning team.

I'm with you here. I'd rather enjoy the season which can turn out to be our best in YEARS, than bitch about our FO's mistakes all over again. I was highly critical of them for the last few seasons. This time it looks they did their job, corrected mistakes and gave us a team we can be excited for. It would be really cool to re-live emotions from 1995 and 2009 before I die. Seems like the team might be on the right path to do so.

Keynote doesn’t seem much more than average. What were you right about?

Guards need time. Too early to judge Keyonte or any guard of his experience.

I remember having Keyonte up to 6th on my board and started looking at other players when Hammond's comment got out about not wanting another small guard.

It was the non-stop complaints on RealGM that started me on the Hedo Gonna Provem All Wrong!!! mantra because every decision in this business isn't going to work out, but that doesn't make every player on the team bad. I trust the professionals over armchair GM's. Gotta learn to roll with it as every player doesn't pan out like one wants. But, appears at this juncture, Weltman has exceeded expectations. Even when the Magic made it to the finals with Dwight, there were many on here hating on every decision and player wanting to trade everyone. Magic fans haven't experienced this in a very long time and some are so used to being Jaded that absolutely nothing will stop their mindset as they will jump to the next person to trash and hate upon. Like it is embedded in their DNA.

It is time to enjoy the moment and reap whatever rewards we can get. The Magic will provem all wrong!!!
