i didn't expect us to care cause we are a mentally weak team. i agree we don't have time alot of time to get ready for the season, but, i'd prefer to think that tonight was just us not caring because it was a preseason game than to think this performance will last all season.

Your are right man, but shooting 3s all the time, does not wins championships, DEFENSE does!!!

not sure why this would leave you feeling optimistic about tonight's outcome. I'm not saying I'm reading into this a whole lot, but these games hold a little more water than usual because of how compact this season is. I'm interested to watch Wednesday's class.

I agree, which is why i think we should start Von Wafer, a guy who can drive the ball, and move JRich to the bench to be our 6th man like he was in PHX. not saying JRich is a problem but he just doesn't have the handles to drive to the basket.

I'm not optimistic about that i'm frustrated actually, but i just expected it to happen. i think we're a leader away from a championship, which is why i wanted Billups.

And we really need a back up center!!! It seems Orton is just another Magic cheerleader and our rookies eager to play for atleast a minute, I was hoping to see Deandre and Harper playing! but thanks to SVG weird decisions... Heat did good be putting there full corall playing tonite.

I didn't watch the preseason game tonight.
Wow 48 pages?
I hope people aren't looking too deep into this.
The Cleveland Cavaliers were 6-1 in the preseason last year I think.

``It was disappointing and it was embarrassing, but we have to stick together. I just told the guys that we’re in this together,’’ said Magic star center Dwight Howard

Is Dwight kidding us? How the heck would his teammates believe that he care about this team?

This year starts where last year ended: TOs and rebounding woes. Add to that the total lack of energy, the inability to run for fast-break points, and poor post play, Orlando simply sucked.

People might not like to here this, but the only thing working was the 3-ball.

Well, I didn't stay up and watch the game, so this comes purely from my interpretation of the box score, but 11-31 is not "working", it's mediocre, and 31 attempts at a mediocre conversion rate is asking for trouble, which it seems like we got in abundance.

That said, I'm not too bothered. It's preseason. We were unbeaten in 3 years in preseason prior to last night, and I don't see any titles in any of those seasons, which leads me to the conclusion that preseason means jack. I'll get worried if the same thing happens to us in OKC next week.

Yeah we get it, it's the preseason.

My concern wasn't the FG% or whatever rust I saw in that game. The real issue here is the fact that our roster hasn't improved.

Even when the 'real' games begin, our chances at winning a championship with this crew are zilch. If we go on with this same group then I don't think we have much to look forward to. I'm projecting another 1st Round exit (and we probably aren't going to get HCA this time).

it's not even a real game.....people need to relax, after the thunder wax us, then complain

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

GTFO you arrogant prick.

If you have to watch videos to tell you how to play you're lost. You said all you have to do is get the ball and run. Actually the video you provide said the key to the break is the outlet pass. Get it? I may be arrogant, but at least I know what I'm talking about.

you don't know what you're talking about because you didn't even read my post correctly to begin with.

i don't get why Jameer can't push the break, it's not like it's a challenging facet to add to your game. you get the ball and run...

still want to tell me a fast break doesn't involve Jameer running? or do you think Jameer should be crashing boards and creating outlet passes?

you should stick to trying to bully girls.

i don't see how running the same things that have lead to our team's decline year in and year out are going to convince him to stay.

however, i'm glad Dwight was testing out his jumper more. he needs to get comfortable working that element into game time situations. i'm happy for him to make every shot in preseason a jump shot, if it helps get him in the flow.

When Miami loses a preseason blowout, they can say "Relax, this is the Pre-Season". That is because they are championship contenders. A worthless game like this isn't going to change the fact that they will likely be in the ECF, Finals or holding a trophy next year. But what about us?

Forget the game. The point is our roster is garbage. It is garbage in the preseason and garbage in the regular season.

Anyone who wants to win a championship has every right to be in panic mode this early.

You bro's need to get laid if y'all are already in panic mode over a pre-season game....
