Two thoughts on this one:
1. It sucks worse that we're losing JJ's playmaking. Hedo looks lazy, disengaged, and slow most of the time. If you watched last night's game, it's pretty clear that JJ paired with Dwight is a great PNR combo. Of all the players rumored to be included in this deal, I think JJ is the one we miss the most.

2. Monta is averaging around 6 assists per game, he's a good passer, but definitely not a "true" point guard. I still think you go for it. Pairing him with a great center might allow him to elevate his game even further.

no doubt about it, Anderson and JJ ARE the best, most consistent guys on this team outside of Dwight - but that's why they're our only guys with value.

i'd love to have had Monta playing alongside JJ and Anderson, but unfortunately BBD + Hedo + JRich + Nelson wouldn't get a deal done.

if a deal gets done, where those two go, i'm going to follow them. they're great character guys whom i'm very curious to watch outside of this season.

Thanks everyone for clearing that up. I just took a look at the thread at TBN. It's really tough for me to not believe YBR after the picture fiasco and now his near identical report with Rudolph's, who's initial report a week ago conicided with Broussard's.

The key thing I took away from that thread is that we're waiting on GS to accept and that Dwight would re-sign if the deal took place.

I hope GS accepts, but everyone says their owner is on drugs and thinks he can get Dwight.
