Can cross Trent Jr off of the list.

A bit disappointed to be honest.

Me too.. perfect fit. I want that more than the 2 draft picks. I’d rather consolidate our assets.

He's the ideal stretch 5 and is a borderline allstar. A front court with Porzingis|Paolo Franz is a cheat code.

Would open up so much for Fultz too. If WCJ would be ok playing 14 min behind KP and 12 min behind Paolo...

Washington is clearly blowing it up.

The jumbo lineup could be sick as well.

So no one is really worried about his health issues in the past and him about to level up again on his next contract (if his contract is much bigger than what he currently is making)?

that's my only concern... otherwise i'd be totally down.

As an FA target if he doesn't pick up his option? Or do you mean as a trade target if he does opt in?

Who/what would you want to give up for his 36 mil expiring if he does opt in?

To be clear I do like his potential fit in our starting lineup and that solves our backup 5 issue, and also improves our backup 4 as well as WCJ would be able to fill both and still get 28-32 min/game off the bench or start if KP does experience injury issues for a significant portion of the year.

I don't know, I rely on y'all for the acquisition scenarios!

Well then quick thoughts: I'd feel better about trying to sign him as an FA as it's hard to imagine giving up our assets for a one year rental of him at 36 million and risking him walking in FA after this season. I imagine WAS would want picks as they got basically nothing for Beal and he's already set to come off their books next year so expirings figure to have little value to them.

Maybe if it's a sign and trade for him on something like 25-30 mil/year for 3 years I'd give up Harris, Isaac, and the Den 2025 1st?

I wouldn't want to give him more than 30 mil/year, and it's hard to gauge his value in the FA market due to his injury history and even when he does have a good season like he did last year in WAS, he didn't seem to impact winning very much even with another top 40 player in Beal.

Heck yeah, that framework makes a lot of sense

I am. also, he has stated many times, he doesnt want to play center, he wants to play PF, against other PF's. with his slight frame, i dont blame him.
