Basketball rob is delusional lol. Look man facts are facts Black couldn’t shoot in college and he can’t shoot now. There was NOTHING statistically that gives hope he can develop a shot. The kid is 4-9 from the free throw line and that’s really bad for your point guard ( wait do you consider him a pg) and his shot is broken all the way. It’s slow, he has no elevation, and it’s just fugly man. He’s going to be a liability on the floor like this.

If we were able to raise Sugg's shooting percentage by quite a lot in 1 year, then why would I not expect Black to do the same?

Umm Suggs shot 33.7% from the three point line in college, he shot 32.7% from the three point line this season in the league.

Yea and 33.7% in college. So it’s far fetched to say we raised his % when statistically he’s shooting worse in the NBA. Granted I know the 3pt line is not the same as it is in college but he’s shooting on par with his college %.

You guys are hilarious

Black was 7 months younger than Suggs, his freshman season. So he is essentially a season younger than Suggs coming into the league.

Black was 4-9 from the FT line in 2 summer league games. That doesn't mean he won't shoot between 70-80% his first season in Orlando.

Don’t look now cause Grady Dick is on fire in his game. Rob I don’t even need to use stats for Black cause your eyes tell you he can’t shoot.

This is going to be a long summer if people know what his weaknesses are and are going to nitpick it .. basically every guard in the top 10 has it.

I'm already looking forward to SL ending.

I don't understand why there is so much negativity. Especially for something outside our control.

I think you should do something about this Anthony Black shooting problem. Maybe a personal letter to Anthony himself? Could send him some instructional shooting videos? Could probably find an old copy of Better Basketball to give him.

Oh you mean college wherein the 3pt line is waaaay closer than the nba 3pt line?

If he shot worse in the league because its farther out amd improved when ge has gotten used to it and MAY improve some more when gets eveb more used to it... why not any other player?

That's why you're not getting a warning or anything bad, just a nudge in the right direction. And yes, it would be considered off topic if an Anthony Black thread got hijacked to talk about Gradey Dick, or Fultz, politics, the NFL, COVID, or whatever random thing that isn't related to him lol - one post could lead to longer debates.

We are very lax mods on this forum, almost to a fault, but posters get away with a lot here, so asking people to not turn a thread into off topic should be pretty easy rule to follow
