SVG (on Dooling and Hedo putting their heads down and driving to the basket):
I like what I see in terms of getting tougher.
They did a good job taking what's there. If there are open shots, he wants them to take it.

Awesome game!
Thank goodness my friend let me watch it at his place again.
It is just great to see a buzzer-beater and against a great team in the Pistons.
I also feel it was a nice bonus that Shard hit a game winner.
The show goes on though.
On to Wednesday at Memphis...

At the end of the game I felt like I did at the end of the Celtics game -- so tired you'd think I'd been playing it. My legs were kind of shaky as I walked out. My voice is pretty shot too. I was surrounded by Pistons fans, so I had to outscream them. I did a pretty good job of it. I'm sure everyone who sits near me hates me.
The guys all played so hard and so well that it's hard to pick who to praise. As close as the game was throughout, this felt like a win all the way. When the Magic are good, they are very, very good.

You might think I'm crazy, but Foyle was big in this game. When he came in to spell Dwight, he really played super aggressive, and we needed it because Maxiel was playing pretty strong.
I think STV has these guy's coached up. They are certianly playing very aggressive. Not just defensively but they are handeling the physical play agianst them when we are on offense. Hedo was taking the ball to the hoop and they did not have anyone that could stop him. Great game. Now that we have the munkey off of our backs we can go into Detroit and just play. Not to say that we will win but that mental part of the game will be gone. Maybe we will finally get some repsect from the officials.

wow...what a f***ing game...i thought for sure it was going into overtime...and this piston fan beside me (my season ticket neighbor's nephew is a huge piston fan) but man was he annoying as hell....he looks over at me and tries to get my attention, well i know he is going to say something stupid, so he taps on my shoulder and i glance over and he's like "your boys cant hang in OT, they barely got this 4th quarter out of them"
well after Rashard nailed the runner and i mistakenly hit him in the head with my elbow, i rubbed him on the head and said "im glad we didn't sign Chauncey"
and he was PISSED...
got to see Chucky Atkins again,, he was there with his crew watching the game...we played against each other overseas and we tried out together for the Lakers which was right before he got on with Orlando...
anyone see Primoz getting into that fight with that fan in the blue Japanese pajamas? that was funny
excellent game...

Theory intact again.
BEST WIN OF THE SEASON, SEEING ALL THOSE PISTON FANS CRYING, SLUMPED DOWN IN THEIR SEATS, OR RUNNING FOR THEIR LIVES STRAIGHT TO THERE CARS BACK TO ****' MICHIGAN!!
Up in 217, had a perfect view of that Rashard make as I knew immediately he was going glass, thought the ball would roll off the front of the rim from the initial angle, BUT HE GOT IT TO GO!!!
Hedo and Rashard came up big in the end.
Bench guys like Keyon, Cookie, Adonal, and Kebo did well.
Dwight after that fall was wincing a lot and I was scared for a bit, we'll see if anything will be said on that.
This win again proves, WHEN WE ACTUALLY TRY TO PLAY FOR 48 MINUTES, WE CAN BEAT ANYONE, and this gives me hope for a good playoff run now no matter how many lackluster games we may be playing for the remainder of the regular season.
Memphis might be a let down, but we'll be back up for @ Detroit on ESPN Friday, and back home at 1 p.m. Sunday vs. Boston on ABC.
Paul Porter got the crowd going early, and we took over from there making sure Piston fans weren't going to get their cheers in.
