I can't believe some of you guys think marshon brooks is a star in making. How many whole games have you even seen him play? Sigh.
He doesn't play defense, he uses a lot of possessions on a bad team WITH a hell of a PG, his assist to turnover ratio is essentially 1. He is basically a shorter and narrower nick young... For a team like magic with a structured offense, he is a chucker and a black hole.
It is like you have no basketball sense at all.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.
"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

Marshon Brooks: Looks good because he is getting minutes on one of the worst teams in the league. Maggete can get good stats for Charlotte, does that make him a cornerstone player.

Bucks might consider it if the alternative is amnestying Jackson. they may not be interested in swallowing his contract and seeing no returns for a year.
and not many teams are going to give a guy like JRich, who's relatively good value in comparison to Jackson, in return. so, the Bucks will have to swallow a bad contract to make it happen.
this is thinking the deal is JRich + Duhon for SJax. if Livingston is included, then i agree that more needs to be added.

SJax is 6'8" and can play both SF and SG effectively. Nothing against JRich, but SJax is better.

yep. if jrich doesn't turn it around by the trade deadline i would be ok sending him and duhon out for jax. i think jj and wafer are more than capable of handling the sg spot and we can play jax at sg some with turk. can livingston be a good backup pg?

JRich isn't trash. He just doesn't work very well with no-vision Jameer.

Well he's trash on defense and if his shot isn't falling from the outside, he's kinda useless. A pass 1st PG would benefit him though.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

I would like Sjax...He is a tough player and he can create his own shot....I think he would do well as our starting 2....Sjax is a good passer as well so from positions 1-3 we have competent passers and ball-handlers....Damn Sjax is a decent defender too plus you can say what you want about him he does have leadership skills...seen him bring his team together in the playoffs before...Haven't thought about Sjax until now and i would like him on our team....what would get it done though?

Thats crap. So when jameer passes Jrich the ball on the perimeter and he misses the open shot, it's jameer's no-vision and not JRich's no-shotmaking? Jason is playing like garbage and it's nobody's fault but his own.

+1, Dont see why a straight up trade for Jason wouldn't work. I cant look up the salaries atm. Jason + idk...Orton?SolidSnake008 wrote:I would like Sjax...He is a tough player and he can create his own shot....I think he would do well as our starting 2....Sjax is a good passer as well so from positions 1-3 we have competent passers and ball-handlers....Damn Sjax is a decent defender too plus you can say what you want about him he does have leadership skills...seen him bring his team together in the playoffs before...Haven't thought about Sjax until now and i would like him on our team....what would get it done though?

why is there talks of captain jack being possibly amnestied in the first place?

J-Rich plus Duhon i think would work for Sjax.....doesn't work in trade machine or trade checker because J-Rich can't be traded for a few months i believe but he can be traded at the deadline...It may be a move you have to make if we're keeping Dwight for the year...Sjax is on Dwight's wishlist

i think you guys are underselling your starting SG for someone who is on the verge of being cut.
in what world a 33 year old guy who made a career of being a hard nosed defender stopped being even a good defender would help magic to get better. he never shot the ball well, he is not known for being clutch and he has discipline issues.
he no longer plays like his old elf, he hasnt been in the last two years. a team with very little talent wants to CUT him.
get the **** hint.

Having a discussion with one of my boys. If we get Bynum/Gasol for Dwight, how possible would it be to trade Pau/Anderson for Love? Giving us a front court of Turk/Love/Bynum.

Did anyone else see this?!

Maaaaan, I don't know about yall, but this team is starting to make me nervous. First we almost took Lopez/Wallace/1st...............and then we turned around and discussed taking on the worst contract in the league.
I understand they want to remain competitive........but this isn't the way. At all.
Sources told ESPN.com that the aforementioned Hawks, meanwhile, engaged Orlando in trade talks for Howard earlier this month with an offer believed to be headlined by $124 million guard Joe Johnson and swingman Josh Smith. You have to figure that the Magic, though, would insist on Al Horford if such discussions ever got serious.

^ ughh... for the love of God... No Amare, no Joe Johnson, no Boozer... no "~30 year old that's going to be over-the-hill in a year or two while on a bad contract" player. I hope Otis isn't that stupid.
