Idk brah seems like some get off my lawn old man stuff lol.

Also it was post draft night so he was def still in NY and was at the arena with them when they got drafted, so he wanted to party with them afterwards.. while it's offseason.. for a big occasion... don't see an issue at all?

Ya... no one responded like this when we drafted Bamba, and there was video of him drunk in the club singing "Mo Bamba".

Those guys are young. They just achieved what they've been working for their whole lives. Not sure I get the complaint.

It was draft night. Unless there was another video once they got to Orlando too, but the one i saw was on draft night which was exactly what you described - limo with his friends and women in it.

Well, that's different than picking them up from the airport with what sounded like strippers

Carry on young men. Carry on

Just my perspective, but aren’t we a little tired of the alleged “high moral character” “good guy” stuff for the Magic? I get that these dudes need to be serious, but honestly, I’d take some players that don’t fit that BS Mickey Mouse club (pardon the expression as I also hate the constant Disney references), squeaky clean image guys.

Just assemble a team that can ball, has an edge, and will command respect on the court. Idgaf what they do in their personal lives short of physical abuse and beyond.

Also reminder that for both Suggs and Wagner most likely the last time they played high level, high intensity 5v5 basketball was in college, so they might not even be in tip top game shape yet....ask Mo bamba game shape is different...that probably affected Wagner more than Suggs but there were a few times i saw suggs a bit winded

Yes and no. Cole can't be the guy dragging the guys down into Dwight baby mama drama situations. If you're going to be "THAT" guy, you better be worth the trouble. Part of it was a misunderstanding of what actually happened, part of it was my detest of people advertising their questionable decisions on social media (again, it was a misunderstanding on this one), and the other part was a player like Cole leading the way on questionable decisions (again, it was misunderstanding on this one though and Cole didn't do anything that I would be against if I was running the team).

The main takeaway here from me is: Cole ain't worth any trouble.

On the summer league roster, Cade's official height is listed at 6'6"

Man... I wonder if that is why Detroit was reportedly not sold on him until the day before the draft. If that was common knowledge, I would imagine that it would have changed a lot of minds. He was already seen as somewhat limited athletically.

Supposedly, according to Kevin O'Connor, Cade had an underwhelming workout with Detroit, and Jalen Green and Mobley had stellar workouts. Which lead Detroit to pause for a bit.

Suggs - Check
Wagner - I'm just going to pretend this game didn't happen and wait for his next outing to overreact :)

Lol well yes, that part I can certainly agree with. We don’t need a culture full of Rodmans or something. I’d be pretty deflated with what’s left of my Magic fandom if we discover that we may have a Lance Stephenson at best and that’s obviously terrible.

I just hope everyone other than Suggs and Timma play better in the next game like I know they all can.

There's a lot to be said about renewed optimism and taking new direction. I've seen the argument from some posters how we'll still be bad or it won't be better than the last rebuild, but it's a direction we had to take at some point and there's already a lot of interest.

Also... im here fot the Timma over reactions.

Speaking of... I wonder what would have happened to the Raps fans IF after that game saving block, Suggs made that buzzer beating 3 pt shot for the win?

Variety is the spice of life. I haven't been this excited about a Magic team in damn near a decade, and I've been a fan since 89 (I'm old as dirt).

Suggs will become Orlando's best player as soon as mid season 2022, as late as start of 2023 season.
Guy is stud. it's just so clear when you have good player and you don't need to dig through his 4 points where he made one good pass in first quater to feel good about prospect.

As for Cole, Hampton... I like Hampton's body and i think he has body where he could become ok nba player. Skills simply aren't there yet.
Cole is different story. He is shooting guard in body of playmaker but who isn't good at play-making.

Wagner, it's first game, nervous. Don't care.

I enjoyed watching some Moody. Kuminga looks good when he attacks the rim... not sure how much of it will be aveliable for him against pros. Maybe more than it normally would, as he got lucky and ended up on Warriors...

Overall fine first SL game. Happy to see Suggs looking good.

Timma has some epic hairstyles, always looks like psyhological thriller's villain. I bet he drives something like this
