The guy from the Bleacher Report doesn't sound like he is much of a Mike Brown fan.
I actually thought that the Cavs played good defense tonight. Ben, Andy and Joe are hard to score on in the paint. I think they have improved their chances of beating Detroit. If you're going to commit to doubling Dwight, which most teams have to do, it's going to leave a shooter open most of the time. Hedo couldn't throw it in the ocean in the first half, Jameer had one of the worst scoring games I've ever seen him play but finally hit a couple really big shots late and Rashard was in foul trouble all first half. Cleveland got a lot of free throws in the first half or even with Orlando's shooting woes, the game could have been tied at halftime (Cavs were 12-for-17 compared to the Magic 5-for-7 at the free-throw line in the first half.)
I don't know what he expected from Wally. He has played like that for the past two seasons. Their offense reminds me a lot of Orlando's when the Magic had T-Mac. LeBron is amazingly quick for a guy his size. Turnovers in the fourth quarter hurt the Cavs. The Cavs had trouble getting the ball to LeBron They were throwing it high, trying to get it over the outstretched arms of Magic defenders and kept missing LeBron's reach and it kept getting tipped out of bounds.

Basically, Legler said the Magic need more love. He pointed out that they have won 45 games and have quality wins and have defeated many of the league's best teams and played well against the top teams in the East this season. He said they have good shooters and play a good inside-out game and have improved much this season but still no one is talking about them. He said they have one of the league's best frontcourts. I can't remember what else he said, but i was very surprised.

I love Shard because he is content not to score 21 in a half if it is in the teams best interest. For a guy that never went to college, he gets it.
You should have heard his postgame interview -- talking about how Dwight makes it possible for all the wing guys to get scores but that the main point of the offense is to get the ball into Dwight and then do what they can around him to try to help the Magic win. He gets it....He gets it. I was very impressed with his second-half performance and thought he was particularly determined to get some important scores in that game. I thought he got some tough whistles in the first half.

He also said how much we've been flying under the radar all season and how Boston & Detroit would fear playing us in round 2 because we've played well vs. them during the season. Also said how he, and the rest of the media, have messed up to overlook the Magic and we're a legit team. He went on to say Philly couldn't upset the top 3 teams in the east, but could upset Lebron in round 1 if that series were to happen.

Howard Mass wrote:This was a wonderful win tonight against a good team.
The Magic do not get enough credit for what they have been doing this season. A total team effort.
It is also good to note that very soon this team will officially be the SouthEast Division Champions.
Great job tonight guys.
Nelson struggles scoring, Dooling comes in to fill the gap.
Lewis and Cook both get into early fould trouble, Garrity is called oof of the bench in the first quarter and hits two shots, fights for rebounds, and gives a hard foul.
Turkoglu is struggling with the long ball in the first half, Evans picks up that slack.
Lewis, Turkoglu, Nelson, and Howard were cold in the first half, the Bench comes in and has a good scoring outburst.
I agree that this game was won as a team. But it was this way because of some gosh-darn good coaching.
Coach Man is my "player" of the game.

Man what a fanstastic win. Great game. And first comeback win in a long time, I cant remember the last time. Our guys showed alot of guts. Irish Patrick gave the Magic a huge lift off the bench when it looked like a Cle parade to the FT line. Stan made a terrific adjustment in the second half getting Lewis going. Lewis was being guarded by Wallace in the perimeter and he coudlnt guard him, Lewis just destroyed him, a matchup heavily in the Magic's favor. Lewis showed how good a player and veteran he is. To come back from 10 down late in the 3rd and take the lead in the fourth was huge. Dwight sent a message with those blocked shots, even those goal tendings, 2 that looked like clean blocks. And how about the refs blowing the 24 sec violation before halftime? Did they have their eyes open?
The Magic played pretty good defense. I was happy with the way the D moved. Loved the hustle. Pat the enforcer!
Tiger + Irish Patrick Joseph Garrity + St. Patrick's day = Magic domination

It was amazing how quickly that 10 point lead by the Cavs disappeared. I almost went to the kitchen for a beer, decided not, but had I , the lead would have been gone by the time I got back.
The worry in the beginning of the season was that Lewis would get pushed around by bigs but if he is shooting well, it kills teams and puts Dwight in one on ones as long as they pass the ball.
No news there.

My 2 cents is worth 5 cents.

Im glad Shard shut up all the haterz last night, This guy is playing nice D, i see him getting more and more Steals, Big Blocked shot on that fast break, Hes driving to the lane and everytime he posts up on the low block and does the turn around jumper and it doesnt go in im shocked. This guy was a GREAT pick up, He understands his role and doesnt need 2 be the #1 guy, Not 2 many guys in the NBA would deffer to Hedo ( he's been lighting it up ) and not worry about there #'s. Shard + Stan = Magic 20 wins Over 500.

He's still overpaid
People were saying that SVG = 5 more wins.
How many more wins will we have than last season? So at this point, any win we have is no longer credited solely to the addition of SVG

Shut up the guys that critisize him.
Well, not really.
