People say the same about Kendall Marshall and Marshall doesn't have a jump shot. Don't need Kendall to score, need him to be the great floor general he is. Don't need Taylor to score, need him to be the wing defender he is.

i'm so tired of hearing about Marshall floor general yada yada.....i respect everyone's opinion about him that thinks he some second coming of marc jackson or steve nash....imo he's not...he does not have that potential imo.....i look at him see a career backup period....just don't see the upside i'm sorry.....

he has some things that you can't teach but it's the things he doesn't have that's a hang-up for me right now.....i mean like someone said in a previous post earlier and i might be wrong but Steve Nash wasn't a starter until like year 5..... so what can i expect from Marshall? i don't know man i'm probably wrong but it's just my opinion....I just don't get why everyone is so high on him when i see so many flaws even on a college level much less an NBA level.....IDK maybe i'm biased since i prefer a more multifaceted point guard instead of a one trick pony....once again people it's only my opinion not fact.....

Marshall is a little overrated on here, can't defend or shoot

with the decline of turk and jrich's awful handles we need someone who can dribble up the floor, on the perimeter, and create some offense. my choice in order: PJIII, royce white, or quincy miller.

There's nothing to like about Marshall. Can't shoot, can't defend, is slow and his high assist numbers are due to the guys around him being talented. My grandma could pass to Barnes, Henson and Zeller and put up those assist numbers.

PJIII would be a star here if we get a coach that can push him.

jones/davis/dwight would be one sick defensive frontcourt.

i agree....i mean i get he has the court vision and passing ability...but i mean he is not athletic....he doesn't have a quick first step.....imo it's going to be hard for him to defend NBA level PG's when he has trouble at the college level.....he's not a knock down shooter....i just don't see why i should like this kid....i may be wrong about him and hey you never know he might be a baller but from what i see....this is a little funny to me but i see an unintentional Chris Duhon lol......can't break down anyone off the dribble so he'll probably be bringing the ball up with his back turned just like Duhon....

^^^^^^This in a nutshell.

I wonder how many more years it will take for fans to open thier eyes to see what TODAY'S GAME has become. Rose. Westbrook. Parker. CP3. Williams. Kyrie.

The person that will have the ball in his hands for 80% of the game needs to be your most dynamic player to dominate in TODAY'S game. This isn't your grandfathers 1960-1984 NBA, Those types of PG's were put out to pasture since 1985. Superstar do it all PG's killed them all.

Whats it gonna take for fans to wake up? ANOTHER 20 years?

If PJ3 is still available for us on our pick, we gotta get him. Probably no discussion on that.

If not, I think Teague is the next best option, even though he is more a scorer than a pure PG. He would be a good match in the pick and roll with D12 though.

PJ3 or Quincy Miller. I like someone who might be able to handle the ball and do some offensive things for us. We need another threat out there.

I don't think its an issue if you really consider is life, because its kind of hard to concentrate on basketball when your mother is sick and your family is in poverty.

He can worry about his sick mother and poverty stricken family on some other team

wow didn't know that....that will take a toll for sure....but i don't mean to be cynical but wouldn't that kinda make you want to work harder? idk i'm sure there are a lot of factors going on in his life....either way if he fell to us i would be happy with a prospect like him....sky high potential...but what about his overall character? you know we're all about the character guys....

I find it hard to believe that PJ3 is there at 19 considering this guy had top 3 talent written all over him going into college. That motor question has really hurt draft stock. No question he has all the tools. If he is there you take him no question.

Maybe the guy didn't want to go to hard in college & risk an injury before getting his first NBA paycheck to help his family knowing he could sleepwalk through college ball & still be a 1st round pick hahaha?

Teague will be the steal of the draft. Hopefully our steal.
