With all this talk of the Bobcat and Bucks talking over the # 2 pic, it makes me think the Bucks will send their #12 pic and Monta Ellis to the Bobcats.

When I look at the facts, I see the following:
18-64, 38-44, 56-26, 49-33, 37-45

Those are win-loss records. Amazing? No. Pathetic? No. I also look at the last year (37-45) and see that they were in playoff position in January until Chris Paul went down for the rest of the season.

So in two years he took a franchise from the bottom to contention. I think taking over as coach was a mistake personally, but I guess I'm not seeing this full on level of hopelessness everyone else does.

To me, it's a bottom line game, and the bottom line is he turned the team from a loser to a winner. He must have been doing something right.

Would I rather have Lindsey? Probably, although who knows how he'll do as a GM - could be great, could be Otis Jr for all we know.

But I don't see full-on despair if they hire Bower the way others here seem to.

It's call having CP3, this is like people using our record to defend otis. He seems like otis 2.0, drafted a great player, and then did his best to chase that player off the team.

He didn't even draft CP3 nor D.West. Those acquisitions were made by his predecessor. He had arguably the best point guard of the era and failed to actually make a contender. Winning 50+ games doesn't make you a contender. He had the foundation between CP3, West, and Chandler, but never built upon it. Sounds awfully familiar...If Bower was so good, CP3 would still be in NOLA. CP3 loved the city, but fact of the matter is he didn't trust the organization to build around him and they never did.

Monta will just bounce in free agency next summer regardless.

I hope we can somehow get Crawford here as a backup PG and SG if we decide to either start JJ, or trade him.

im confused. isn't Jamal illegible to be traded because he has an opt out clause? i thought everyone with an opt out clause couldn't be moved - unless it's a team option?

This is where Tom Penn would come in handy.

Tony Wroten Admits Trouble Defending Retired Brandon Roy, Which Says Something http://mobile.sbnation.com/nba/2012/6/1 ... draft-2012

NBA.com's fantastic Scott Howard-Cooper talked to Tony Wroten, the University of Washington guard who figures to land in the high teens or 20s in the 2012 NBA Draft. Wroten talked about working out with UW/Seattle area legend Brandon Roy, who retired last December at age 27 due to knee trouble.

Six months after being forced into retirement by a knee injury, Roy, Wroten said, "dominates. I'm a good defender, I feel like, but, man, it's a little hard to stop him. He just gets to his spots. We're going to see. His knee looks great, though."

This says one of two things about these two dudes:

1. Tony Wroten is not a good defender.

2. Brandon Roy is still Brandon Roy.

I'm going with No. 2. Come back No. 7! The league needs you now more than ever.*

* There's nothing particularly particular about right now that requires B-Roy, other than the fact that we always need B-Roy.

What's his situation if he comes back?......Free Agent or still part of Blazers?

When asked if he would return to the Portland Trail Blazers, Roy said it’s unlikely.

“I wish, but due to the NBA rules I cannot play in Portland until 2014-2015,” Roy tweeted. “I’m looking to return sooner

I'd take a chance on him in Orlando every day of the week!

B-Roy's shoddy knees > J-Rich
