Well it makes sense Henny including BBD with JRICH and Duhon versus Turk. More cap flexibility.

They need to have a minimum salary on the books what is $35 million? Turk's contract will be a big expiring at the end of the season.

This is CP3 to Orlando ALL OVER AGAIN.

We can only dream that Lamb, Jones, White, Martin and picks are coming our way.

Notice the Rockets' rookies haven't signed their rookie deals yet. Once signed, think they can't be traded until Dec.

+1 Magic must follow league rules and establish a cap floor, and it's higher than 35 mil I think.

You can count Gilbert's $22mil though.....so technically they only need about $31mil in salary to be OK.

Yep. Maybe Meer will revert to his St. Joe's play, and JJ will be Duke-like in his play and we will shock the world, lol.

so, what do you all think? best case scenario, we are OKC in a couple of years? worst case scenario, we are....the Cavs/Bobcats in a couple of years?

most likely scenario...

Hmm... Well, Howard's first name starts with a D, and so does the word "dinner". I think I am onto something here...

At this point including big baby is probably something Houston wants. With him and Clee they would have a better chance at keeping D12. Maybe knowing this Houston will include most of thier assets and picks.

I really hope we give them Hedo. Not so much for his contract but because he is not the guy I want influencing the young guys. Now BBD, on the other hand, I would love to keep on the roster. At least him and Jameer would play hard.

Nah, the Magic don't count that Gilbert contract, it's part of the amnesty parameters, and why it's only a one-time move for the whole next ten years-ish of the new CBA. The new Stretch and Cut would count to cap though.

Giving them Big Baby ain't all that bad. Just means Drew Nicholson will have all the floor time he needs to win ROY.

Yeh, and also makes sense in amnestying Scola, make room for BBD. So their lineup would prob be something like:

Brooks
JRich
Parsons (I hope we get him though)
BBD
Dwight

That's a pretty solid lineup really. Could make some noise in the West.

It's not part of the cap or luxury tax, but I think it's counted for the minimum salary needed.

I agree with you on that one.
