I agree. But at this point what can we do that will make us competitive? :x

Nothing really, we missed our chance. Sigh.

Still got 4 or 5 hours to go, some trades will post after the deadline. Gerald Wallace talks fell through in Portland, he's an option, still SJAX and Nazi, I'm sure there are other possibilities. I just don't see the scenario where we don't trade J Rich in the next 4 hours. He's gotta go.

Looking at the comments dwight made last night, I would be surprised if he stayed with us.he's tired of our performances as we all are, but guess what, nothing is going to change. We have no more trade assets, no picks and nothing seems likely to change. I won't blame dwight for leaving either.the magic look like an absolute joke right now and that certainly isn't dwight's fault

Reports said Jordan got cold feet ..

Nazr/Kwame & Wallace would be a combo that's very available .. I mean, they were trying to trade Wallace for an always injured Przybilla, pretty sure they'd like JRich too since everyone in Charlotte still seems to like JRich ..

I dreamed that we traded JJ for Przybilla. More of a nightmare, really.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I think I'm the only one who isn't a fan of picking up Troy Murphy... In what way does he = the defensive big man to back-up Dwight.

We're getting another pf who will take minutes from bass while jacking up more 3's, with 0 defensive presence. You guys maybe all on board, but I am severely unimpressed if that's what we're doing.

Oh well. I guess it's another body to give Dwight a break. We're still going to be a layup drill for the second unit.

According to Cordwainer, the application stopped working at 12:49 PM EST on Wednesday. At the time, a user known only as “theghostofBenQRock” was attempting to create a trade involving five teams (the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, New Orleans Hornets, and Los Angeles Clippers) that would create a lineup of the following players for the Orlando Magic: Chris Paul-PG, Kobe Bryant-SG, Kevin Durant-SF, Blake Griffin-PF, and Dwight Howard-C.

“The Trade Machine had endured a lot, I mean a lot, of abuse over the last couple of days,” said Cordwainer, “but when it saw some yahoo trying to trade Kobe Bryant for Gilbert Arenas and Chris Duhon, well, I think that was just too much.”

Great... I wake up, and all I see is jack crap being done by Otis and Orlando... as expected... so I shouldn't be mad right? WRONG! I'm levid... and I don't care that I am

Nothing is being done... no Zbo, no Mayo, no anything... but all I hear about is Troy freakin Murphy... honestly... F Troy Murphy... he's not going to come here anyways after the deadline... yeah, let's wait on a guy who hasn't even committed to the team yet, and not do anything in the meantime... that's smart Otis... What's going to make it even worse is Troy is probably going to head to Miami or Boston or Dallas... and not here

And we're thinking of extending J-Rich? ... WHY!? He isn't the same J-Rich on this team... probably b/c SVG's system is too much of an adjustment for him... but why not use him in a trade to better ourselves in the swingman and center positions? Heck, I saw Josh Smith was available... I'd throw in my left eye and testicle in a deal to get Josh Smith and his athleticism and defense. Plus he's friends with Howard from High School.... but of course Atlanta won't trade to a rival... like Washington

Well, 3-4 hours left... Otis

I would trade jameer for andre miller if we truly have no chance at landing a star. I believe our fundamental problem is the lack of a true point right now. Then maybe try to pick up a couple wings known to play a little defense. Troy murphy is fine if we do end up picking him up

this was posted during the game btw. but though it was interestion.
Steve Kyler - 02/23/2011 7:47PM EST-

All "rumored" Magic players were dressed and active for tonight's game versus the Kings, in fact Jason Richardson, Brandon Bass and JJ Redick have all logged minutes.

Magic sources still saying a deal before the deadline is unlikely, but confirm Orlando is listening to offers, especially if they can get a player for their $1.8 million Traded Player Exception or for Chris Duhon.

The Magic will be watching the waiver wire, especially as it pertains to Troy Murphy who is expected to land in Golden State at some point in the next 24 hours, he is expected to be waived.

Coincidentally the Warriors will be trading Dan Gadzuric to the New Jersey nets, who will buy him out – a lower dollar buyout than Murphy. Both players have been on the Magic trade radar, and could be targets once they are eligible to sign new deals.

No I'm with you... I was a fan of Murphy... uhh... 7-8 years ago... but not now, and he's not a need on this team... and I'm tired of ex-GSW players coming here... he's not an upgrade at any position... just another waste of space and shots (bad shot selection)

Celtics looking to get Anthony Parker without actually having to give up the player they trade (like Cavs did with Z last year)

@KBerg_CBS Ken Berger
Not having much luck dangling Nate Robinson and pick for wing upgrade, Celtics now trying to use Marquis Daniels' contract, sources say.
Daniels, out with a neck injury, could be bought out by Cavs with cash from Celtcs in a deal for Anthony Parker, sources say.
