I agree. But at this point what can we do that will make us competitive?![]()

According to Cordwainer, the application stopped working at 12:49 PM EST on Wednesday. At the time, a user known only as “theghostofBenQRock” was attempting to create a trade involving five teams (the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, New Orleans Hornets, and Los Angeles Clippers) that would create a lineup of the following players for the Orlando Magic: Chris Paul-PG, Kobe Bryant-SG, Kevin Durant-SF, Blake Griffin-PF, and Dwight Howard-C.
“The Trade Machine had endured a lot, I mean a lot, of abuse over the last couple of days,” said Cordwainer, “but when it saw some yahoo trying to trade Kobe Bryant for Gilbert Arenas and Chris Duhon, well, I think that was just too much.”

We're getting another pf who will take minutes from bass while jacking up more 3's, with 0 defensive presence. You guys maybe all on board, but I am severely unimpressed if that's what we're doing.
Oh well. I guess it's another body to give Dwight a break. We're still going to be a layup drill for the second unit.

All "rumored" Magic players were dressed and active for tonight's game versus the Kings, in fact Jason Richardson, Brandon Bass and JJ Redick have all logged minutes.
Magic sources still saying a deal before the deadline is unlikely, but confirm Orlando is listening to offers, especially if they can get a player for their $1.8 million Traded Player Exception or for Chris Duhon.
The Magic will be watching the waiver wire, especially as it pertains to Troy Murphy who is expected to land in Golden State at some point in the next 24 hours, he is expected to be waived.
Coincidentally the Warriors will be trading Dan Gadzuric to the New Jersey nets, who will buy him out – a lower dollar buyout than Murphy. Both players have been on the Magic trade radar, and could be targets once they are eligible to sign new deals.

Not having much luck dangling Nate Robinson and pick for wing upgrade, Celtics now trying to use Marquis Daniels' contract, sources say.
Daniels, out with a neck injury, could be bought out by Cavs with cash from Celtcs in a deal for Anthony Parker, sources say.
