Caproom is not an immediate concern when your going to be bad and The Magic need to get the best youth on good contracts and picks before scheding contracts or taking on a bad one (Brook Lopez).

We're talking about a 6 time all star right?

It's a negotiation, this is simply part of the game. I still say 90 percent chance Howard going to Brooklyn. And soon.
Hope he's wrong. He's planted a pretty strong flag.
Don't the Nets have to make the deal today? Is it the 11th or 12th that the Nets start making their other deals official?

The #Magic have been talking to other teams all along. I'm not sure anything has changed on the Dwight Howard front.

Loking for more leverage or not, "re-opening" Dwight trade talks to other bidders smart to squeeze better deal. (Uh, when did they close?)

My friend MC @ajchawks has details on ATL's interest in DH12 homecoming: http://ww2.ajcmobile.com/autojuice/?tar ... 75453.html Options there if #Magic take patient approach.

I can wait.

Famed L.A. Lakers owner Jerry Buss was rushed to an L.A. hospital last night, where he was treated for severe dehydration -- Buss family sources tell TMZ.
According to sources, 78-year-old Buss fell ill at his home around 9pm and someone inside the house called 911. The L.A. City Fire Department responded and paramedics rushed Jerry to a local L.A. hospital.
It's unclear if Jerry's still being treated, or has been released.

I can see the clock ticking on potential deals with LAL/Houston because those guys have to actually convince Dwight to stay and in the Lakers case they are gearing up for a finals run so I'm sure they wouldn't want Dwight coming in at the trade deadline.
But the Brooklyn deal is always going to be there...everyone knows they want Dwight BAD. The same deal available today will be the same deal at the trade deadline.

If this thing was about the Magic getting the "best deal" Howard would have been a Laker weeks ago. I see nothing but a bluff here.

Then look at numbers, look at playoff averages, look at whatever you want.
J.Johnson>>>>> Hedo or Rashard.... I can't believe you homers cant see that.

Look at playoff numbers:

Aside from Joe Johnson's final year in Phoenix where Steve Nash got him paid, Joe is a 40% shooter (and like 35% from 3s). Period.
Let's look at Rashard's '08 & '09 runs:

Look at Hedo's '09 playoff run:

I'm looking at the numbers. I don't see how Joe Johnson is better.
