Yeah, they only signed Donatas.

I know we have to do this, but its pretty hard for me to get excited about losing the best center in the NBA and being a crap team for the next 3 years.

I really hope that if we include BBD (who i def DONT want to trade!), we get back that big euro

Apparently BBD handcuffed himself to Dwight and swallowed the key.

Right....I'm not 100% sure if it's correct but I know for a fact I read somewhere that amnestied contracts could count towards the cap "floor" of 90%.

Well IF and at this point it is IF we make this deal....then does JJ start? me i kinda like him off the bench.....but who knows though.....we'll have a brand new coach which means there are opportunities for guys to prove they deserve a starting spot or a rotation spot.....it'll also mean Duhon might as well check out Men's Warehouse and get some suits if he's still here that is.......

It's not part of the cap or luxury tax, but I think it's counted for the minimum salary needed.

MagicTownBaller is right, IIRC.

I would think KMart would have to start.

That is correct. His 20 million does not count against our tax or cap but it counts towards the required cap spent. Meaning even with ticket sales hurting for a year we could cut costs as we rebuild.

I wonder if the Rockets are following them to simply do a little vetting process and see what they post on there to see if they want those guys or not. Duhon's absurd tweets might derail the whole process!!!!! LOL.

If BBD goes, perfect opportunity for Fran to arrive and the rookies to blossom.

We could move JJ and/or Kmart by the deadline, they will be a good expiring.

Alex Kennedy ‏@AlexKennedyNBA
As @EricPincus pointed out, the Rockets' official Twitter account just followed Dwight Howard, Jason Richardson, Glen Davis and Chris Duhon.

Media is starting to pick up on it.

Assuming the trade is Dwight/BBD/JRich/Duhon for Martin/Lamb/Jones/Draft Picks, we go from being Forward/Center heavy to Guard heavy quickly.

Gustavo Ayon, Kyle O'Quinn
Andrew Nicholson, Justin Harper
Hedo Turkoglu, Terrence Jones, Quentin Richardson
Kevin Martin, JJ Redick, Jeremy Lamb, DeAndre Liggins
Jameer Nelson

Well, Rockets followed Brockman and Leuer when traded with Milwaukee.

Return to Orlando Magic
