Worst trade ever. We watch 3 allstars pass in the night while we get scrubs and soon to be crappy draft picks. I already want our GM fired.

Highlights

Good luck with that Thunder model, by the way. It involves winning the lottery or finishing second in a year with a franchise centerpiece, getting lucky enough to have that player fall to you and somehow still being bad enough over the next two seasons to snag two more top-four picks in the draft. That is nearly unprecedented. Toss in the selection of a borderline future All-Star at No. 24 (Serge Ibaka), and, bam, you’ve got the Thunder model! As easy as cooking a nice pasta dinner.

And that's the truth for all of you tanking enthusiasts. What happened to the Thunder is literally one of the biggest strokes of unprecedented luck in NBA history.

It's like watching your neighbor win the lottery and deciding that buying tickets from the same convenient store will guarantee your fortune as well.

This trade needed actual building pieces within it: (lottery picks and top ten rookie talent)
Instead we got back end first round talent and backend picks.

This is a defenseless trade.

You don't think Rob knows this? Dwight completely **** us by demanding to go to teams with no assets and killed whatever leverage we had.

We are hoping to have something Thunder-like happen, but we are rebuilding regardless because it's the right thing to do.

I'm excited about the opportunity. Not sure about the players but I won't judge until I see them at least play a few games and let Jacque try to coach.

well what's done is done....emotions riding high right now....you got BMP blowing a gasket....people jumping off the cliff(aka abandoning the fanbase) and to top it off you got people OVER AND OVER again seemingly compelled to reiterate how bad the trade was when it's been all over the place all day long....i guess if you look it this as a relationship i can understand the emotions....me personally i'm a cold dude....get over it lol......

Dwight is the one who **** us, not Rob. How can you guys not understand this? We had no leverage, and the teams Dwight had on his list had no assets. What did you think would happen?

Magic ratings, Over/Under 25th overall in all categories?

We're 21 overall and 7th defense with the trades on 2k12, can't recall offense

I foresee 20 years of 0 finals appearances unless we get a young, rich owner who cares about basketball and cleans out the front office. How are we not calling Rob worse than Otis for this mess. Sign Jameer to long term and trade Dwight for 3-4 year deals. Worst GM we have ever had.

Sounds like we want to tank the next 2 years and set ourself up for free agency splash in 2014/2015.. so two top 5 picks + free agents + what we have now

I guess it could be worse. They didn't want good players to mess that up.

A Bynum for Howard trade would have been better than this garbage. Wow. Why even have a league? You have5 super teams and the lottery. That us what the NBA has become.

Asking for turner or chandler would not have messed that up

And if you're not a super team, or a once-in-a-generation type of team like the Thunder, then you're a farm system team for the super teams.

I don't know why so many people are crying about Harrington. He is not going to be here longer than a year. I have a feeling we'll be trading him to a playoff team at the deadline.

Just to state the obvious and vent. the media rips the Magic for not trading Dwight.

The Magic trade Dwight. The media rips the Magic for getting screwed over.

Am i the only one that understands the fact that this wasn't a decision Hennigan made on his own? some of you have to understand that right? Otis turned Ownership off from giving a GM free reign to do whatever they want so now Henny can't take a sh t without getting the OK from Alex and the Devos family....But it's kinda strange how Alex is just letting Hennigan take the heat here....IMO Alex should of been at that press conference not Jacque.....
