Interesting find on the Sentinels website. Disregard if it's already been posted.

....although the final three seasons of Gilbert Arenas’ contract were excised from the Magic’s salary-cap figures in Dec. 2011, when the Magic used the new CBA’s amnesty provision, the remaining year of Arenas’ contract — worth approximately $22.4 million — still will count toward the Magic’s overall minimum salary figure.

So, the Magic would be able to waive both Turkoglu and Harrington and not be under the team minimum.

The hype for this guy is unreal! Jordan, Wade, Igoudala, Allen, now Westbrook! We better get a statue of him made before summer league starts. lol. I can't help but be excited about the pick after Woj brought him up. Might even make a Oladipo sig.

Henny gets EOY if this guy turns out to be the next Westbrook. If that's the case, why the hell are we going after Bledsoe? Smokescreen to LAC that we don't really need Bledsoe?

they know wat he is as a SG. better to see if he has the capabilities to be OUR PG or not.

He hasnt made the transition yet.. This only signifies that they will experiment with him playing the one. Whether he succeeds in that transition or nottime will tell. Hopefully it works out

Victor Oladipo wouldn't have easy transition to running an offense, but Magic are wise to experiment with him. Few work harder to learn.

Oladipo said on Rome today, "I'm a guard". He's already speaking JV talk.

VO will do wat Henny and Vaughn tell him to do and will work his ass off doing that. he has the drive to suceeed.

Rob said the exact same thing in his post draft press conference when asked what position Oladipo plays...

"We see him as a Guard."
