We legit could've won this game tonight with some better sub patterns and simply parking Evan's ass on the bench. I am so pissed off. I have never seen the level of effort on the defensive end that AG showed against Kawhi tonight. Isaac should always be in the game whenever Siakam is in there, no excuses.

It's like Frank Vogel all over again, just inexcusable to play him in these moments.

That means you've got 3 other positions for players to be those scorers we need and none of Vuc, Fournier or DJ are consistently stepping up to fill that void.

All i'm saying is that it's clear as a day that Gordon and Isaac aren't best fits next to each other.
But we all knew that year and half ago.
As for keeping Leonard off, up until tonight he averaged 31 ppg on 64% FG in first two.... Now we finally decided to double team him

Don't be daft. You saw the last game. Nobody was stopping Kawhi that night. Gordon hasn't given him many easy buckets all series.

Isaac and Gordon are great fits next to each other. Vuc, Fournier and DJ aren't cut out to carry a team over the top of that.

I think AJ and AG dont fit at all. One needs to be replaced with a shooter. That is pretty clear. They are pretty redundant.

Isaac was on Kawhi a lot today and did a good job for a 21 year old.

I think Fournier guarded Siakam a lot in this game.

Nobody cares about the Magic, even as an underdog story. Leonard as an individual is more compelling to casuals than the Magic team.

But anyway, Fournier can go to heck. 1-12 with multiple game losing defensive lapses. Give me a break. Actually, just give me an NBA caliber filler player at that position. Iwundu was 1-5 but I like his play a lot better.

Yeah Magic should have double the number of free throws the Raps have. Oh wait ..

i know you have to defend your boy, but this comment really doesn't hold up to much scrutiny.

I disagree with the last part of that statement.

And i've been really impressed by Siakam. The Raptors are in good hands when Kawhi Leonard leaves for LAC this summer. I also have a lot of faith in Masai Ujiri to sort of reload and build a younger team around Pascal.

Yea Gordon’s defense was insane on the robot tonight

Yep, we don't have that margin for error at all.

On a positive note, Isaac looked like a future beast and Gordon has shown that he has another gear that he can go to on defense (when called upon) during this series.

Honestly though, this is why getting into the playoffs is so important. You know you can’t pay guys like Fournier who may look good during some regular season nights but totally cannot help you during the postseason.

Have to think if we made the playoffs back when we had oladipo and him we wouldn’t have made the wrong choice.

Vučević just comes off 22 points ,14 rebounds, 6 assist game. Is it his fault that Evan did nothing ,DJ looked like trash, Isaac is shooting 3-15 for 3 for playoffs, and Gordon was limited on 10 points?
46 out of 93 points were scored by Vuc and Ross, on 15-30 FG

Rest of a roster: 14-50, yet you cherry pick woh was good and who was not.

You picked wrong game to defend agendas.

Quick edit: Isaac is actually 3-17 for 3 in playoffs.

Isaac was shooting and defending well tonight. He really should have been on the court to close the game out. Evan was a proven liability through 3 quarters but he gets to vote of confidence from Cliff down the stretch because... I don't know.

AG and Isaacs defense is everything for this team. AG whole game has impressed me in these playoffs, he’s a keeper.

If that's the way the game plays out, that's the way the game plays out. Are they supposed to just blow random whistles and give a team free throws because they have less than the opponent? You guys are playing extremely aggressive defense and it's producing fouls. But it's also keeping us out of any kind of rhythm.

Hopefully none, he’s a bench player. We better not let Ross go.

Sadly another two years unless we can somehow trade him for anything.
