We can get Paolo in some good actions but tbh his offense has looked mediocre ever since preseason. Not sure if it's the thumb but he's far from this "put him on the block, automatic bucket", his jumper has looked meh and he won't attempt any threes. Luckily he's adjusting okay as a passer but it's a bit worrying if he's getting a mental block with his shot. Passed up a few open threes too.

What happened to Fultz? Cole was really bad and continued to play.

I guess we assume Isaac is on a really tight minutes restriction until we hear differently? Even though it wasn’t back-to-back?

If he’s already experiencing some sort of pain that is a really bad sign.

He got taken out soon after the Walker foul. I wonder if something happened because it looked bad. Before that defensively he wasn’t at his best.

Wendell said in one interview that he and P are accountability partners. They are going to need someone else if they both are going to play like these past two games. I think this is where Franz grow as a leader and talk to both of them.

no agree with the"mediocre"label.
just is taking less protagonism on offense, but also still contribuiting in positive ways as you said.

clearly maybe is just these two games, but if the trend continues more reasons for staff to try to put him in better situations.

i mean ,in these two games, still have 4-5 plays when he was "beast-mode"next to the basket(that dunk on his offensve rebound was crazy)
to me,but this is clearly just my opinion, would be a drama if he would be limited because of his shooting, when he is so often so unstoppable near the basket.

there are players who could still score lot of points without outsife shooting,no reasons he can not be,he has everything.

my view: Mosley wants someone who is bucket-minded first on the floor.
Anthony is the only guy with that....mindset right now.

Its funny how our opponents fans are pissed at their teams for losing to Orlando as we are still considered to be one of the worst teams in the NBA. I guess a win over LAL will cause an epic meltdawn

Pretty messy game overall, both teams looked quite bad in stretches. But any away win is fine in my book. I don't know why Cole and Mo played for so long in the 4th, it wasn't working out great. Even if Fultz had some injury problem, we had other options instead of Cole playing for 16 minutes straight or however long it was. And hopefully Isaac is not injured again, he played only 8 minutes.

Suggs with another good effort. Mo was great on offense, I don't know how there are so many defenders who still bite so readily on his fakes at the 3 point line, he is a 31% shooter from 3 who's really good when he gets a step on the defender and can drive to the basket, but he should keep doing it as long as it works. I liked how often we got to the line, especially Franz and Paolo, but there were too many missed FTs. Paolo's jumper hasn't looked good so far, hopefully it will improve.

His offense is fine when he plays like 6'10 -250 pounds person and attacks rim.
His offense always looked bad when he pretended to be Carmelo Anthony.

Over time you want him to be better spot up shooter etc, but imo, he would still be best used as screener who recives ball and makes right plays off catch.
Him being on ball for exstended period of time always looks like it just helps defense . At least to me.

Without improved shooting i doubt Paolo ever becomes a efficient scorer, despite his FT rate. He isnt a good enough finisher and i doubt he will become much better at it (at least not very good), because he lacks length (wingspan) & high level athletism/explosiveness at the rim. He wasnt even a good finisher at Duke against smaller Defenders, despite having already a NBA body.

He definitely needs to become a better shooter. But he is at the beginning of his 2nd year. He got enough time to improve but its worrisome.

I will say that the growth of the team is really amazing to watch. For Orlando to lose the lead in the 3rd and then go on a run and kept their poise was great. Especially since last year, it was a little tough to watch when that happened.

Paolo has plenty of development still left to do. That’s why it’s not realistic to expect 25ppg from him this season. It will be lower than last year in this new offense.

I’m getting kind of bad vibes from Paolo. It’s almost like he doesn’t really want to be here. He just looks a lot different and nowhere near as confident as last season. Something seems off to me about him so far

Through two games, Paolo is leading the team in assists.

Seems to me Paolo is focusing on being a facilitator. Not worried, at some point he will break out with a 30pt performance.

Ugly win. Gave them too many 2nd chances and also not making our FTs.

But a win is a win. Paolo shot 4/9 FT, otherwise his stats would've look a lot better. I'm not too worried about him. He's probably trying to adjust his game to help us win.

Suggs and Moe were big this game, props to them.

Paolo has been good on defense. Lots of deflections. Paolo is locked in being the best teammate. No concerns with Paolo.
