tremendous win my friends, I am in the best mood ever. We beat a great team. Though its our first win in the last 9 tries still it felt just as great. My kids were sleeping when RL scored the banker and my nephew and I jumped for joy and had to eat our screams so my wife wouldnt kick us out of the house.
But man the best thing about this win is shutting the mouth of those obnoxious Piston fans. Man I wish I was at the game for this one.
Lets bring it boys, we have a tough stretch of games. Congrats on this win.

probably not, I don't know if it's just me but watching it in real time it didn't look like a walk to me, let alone 4 STEPS, but the replays clearly show travelling.

Great game.. Wow.. I love the Pissons fans.. Like I said on the first page I look forward to it because its always such a crazy atmosphere.. Last night was the worst Ive ever been in though.. Throughout the entire 4th qtr these guys had been talkin alot of **** to eachother and at one point the Pistons fan stodd up and was screamin in the guys face puttin his finger damn near on him. The Magic fan jus kinda sat there and took it, I guess because his wife was right next to him.. Well Shard hit the game winning shot and I immediately started screaming in the face of every Piston fan around me.. After all the **** they were talking I just let it out on them.. All fo a sudden the Piston fan that I mentioned previous goes flying into me nearly knockin me over the next row. Dude was a good 300 lbs.. So I trun around and the Magic fan have shoved the guy over a row of seats and was now being held back by about 5 ppl.. The Pistons fan finally got up and took off for the door while still talkin ****.. I lost my voice.. Greatest game ever
Hopefully this is one of those games that gets our guys goin for a while now. BTW Brian Cook played a helluva game..

Wow, what a game. That was a playoff game last night. It was very good to see what we are capable of when we put our minds to it. The intensity was awesome, and the defense was at a whole new level from what we have been seeing from them. Sure, they have gotten better in some regards, but last nights game was definitely at a playoff caliber level. I'm very pleased with what I saw, incredible win for us. It was so good it might preclude us from making any changes to this roster. I hope not, but we really played well as a team, and maybe for the first time this year.

...am I serious about what? It's just a running joke in most pick up games I've played that bank shots don't count if you don't call it. Sorta like a ping pong shot that grazes the edge of the table. You'll take the point, but you might take some crap for it.
I meant are you serious that you'd like to know if 'shard called bank on that game-winner.
I know what the joke is, but it doesn't really fit this situation.
The whole point of the joke about calling it is when it was pretty clear that the person did not intend to bank it and just got bailed out. (Think line drive bank from the top of the key). Then you take the point, but along with some teasing.
Rashard's shot was nothing like that.
I mean you wouldn't call that on Tim Duncan. That was probably the 3rd shot Rashard made like that in just this game, and he probably averages one shot like that per game.
As I'm sure you know, there a people who will complain about anything and everything on this board, and no matter what happens Rashard can do no right. I was so elated by this win only to jump on here and immediately read a complaint that we should have gone to Dwight more, and then your post questioning whether he called bank or not. I didn't know if you were joking or if you were one of those people who marginalize every good thing Rashard does and magnify every bad thing that he does. That is why I asked if you were serious.

I sat near about 4 Pistons fans, 2 guys, 2 girls, my guess were couples. The guys talked **** the whole night, while the girls just sat there just looking good. My buddy ended up getting into a rift with them in which my buddy was trying to get them to come outside after the game because the guys "accidentally spilled a beer on him after the game was over". Regardless, the night was full with excitement, about 9 beers later (somewhat shortly after half time)I was talking **** myself to all Pistons fans I had seen. This was a big game, and I can't wait for the playoffs. If we play them in the playoffs at some point I sense a bit better series.

So CB would have knocked down the 2 FTs and we'd been up by 1. We'd inbounded and would have been fouled.
There was 9.6 seconds on the inbounds pass. The foul maybe a second later. So we'd inbound with about 8.6 to go, get fouled after a second - leaving the Pistons with 7.6 seconds to run a play - still plenty of time for them.
Unless we'd keep fouling them - assuming we would be hitting our FTs.

No doubt haha.. I dont normally talk much during games.. but I bring it when we play the Pistons. Theres not a team in the league I hate more.. There fans are jus ass holes too. Its like they only show up to get drunk and fight.. I really let everyone have it all game and then when we won I really got crazy.. I talked **** to everyone around me at my seats.. i talked **** as walked out.. I yelled **** in the parking lot.. I got in my car, rolled the windows down and talked **** to every Piston fan who walked by or I could see.. I talked **** driving down the road to Pistons fans on the sidewalk.. I went ****..

i was just browsing the pistons game thread (not saying anything) just to see what all they were saying and here are a few quotes of what they said before the game... oh how sweet it is
What's funny is I really could see Dwight having a game like that...
But in reality... when your starting shooting guard is Mo Evans... I do not fear your team in the slightest.
If Magic's starting backcourt is Arroyo and Evans, losing this game would be more embarrassing than losing to the Knicks.
Thank goodness we're playing that Magic... We really need a win.
