50-28 advantage in points in the paint was the difference.

Stan says Ryno, Dwight, Pietrus are all definitely out for Saturday night. Jameer and JJ will be questionable going into tomorrow.

I like these types of short handed wins with different guys stepping up, it's nice to see once in awhile. Orton could of played in his first NBA game instead of a D league game o wells.

Good Game all around.

who would've thought? dwight sits and the magic hold detroit to their lowest rebounding output in nearly a decade in their gym. in fact, this is the most effective we've ever been at rebounding the ball against detroit. ever.

Amazing win! Vince and Bass were monsters out there. I got $50 that says the Pistons call Otis tonight asking about Bass's availability haha. They were after him before we got him and he is exactly what they need, they have to be drooling after him.

Wow, I went out at halftime and we were tied and I come back and see that we won.......by 14.........without Dwight, Jameer, JJ and Pietrus.

WOW

I see Bass was beastly.

Really nice to see our boys cowboy-up and rally around each other to win this one.

So pumped.

And Otis should tell them that unless we're getting Rip AND Teyshaun they can go pound sand.

No way I give up Bass for just Rip. We have enough ageing players on the backside of their careers.

Bass has legit potential to be the next Carlos Boozer (if given the PT like he got tonight).

Hey '89, we won tonight without not just Redick, but Howard and Nelson as well. Is our offense looking smoother without them too? ;)

wow i couldnt see tonight's game but i'm really glad we won, and not only won but trounced this team without all of our stars. Bass goes 11-12 and scores 27 points? wow...

I mean i knew he was good and would probably capitalize on an opportunity like this but man, he really killed it lol. we may have a real gem there. I mean, now that he ha splaying time and confidence(not that it was ever a problem) but i'm really optimisitic about his ability to help us against the better teams. Let's hope we can stay ahead of Miami and squelch their recent insurgence. Great to see our guys rise to the occasion, shows Vince's maturity no doubt. :)

Does anyone know Did they all fall victim to the same dish that sidelined jj in the chicago game?

Bass has always been smart about taking his shots. Nothing circus, just his spots when he is open and his size is invaluable. That said, I could kick myself. Caught a cold, took Nyquil and was out by halftime probably so didnt see all of it but I imagine Bass manhandled whoever was on him.
My 2 cents is worth 5 cents.

I am so proud of our team, they played their hearts out. I really enjoyed watching that game. Loved seeing Bass step up like he did. And the effort in the second half was stellar.

Anyone still believe that we need to make changes to this roster? We have all the tools to do great things this year. And yes, Bass most definitely needs to be put into the starting lineup.

I can only imagine that locker room last night. For some of those guys, this was a game they will remember for their lifetime. The sense of accomplishment must of been incredible.

yes, we do need to make changes on the roster. Winning against a bad Detroit team doesnt change that. Prince went off for 30 against us. We had trouble beating Detroit with a full squad just a short time ago.

Its the way we won that proves a point. I know it wasn't the Lakers, but we have plenty enough talent to win a championship with this group. No need to gut the team for Melo or make a lateral move for Arenas. I am always up for an upgrade when we can get it, but this team is loaded the way it is too. Its a shame more of us don't recognize it.

now im not saying gut the team, but this team does need to be improved somewhat. Either by players stepping up and playing like they havent before, or a change of players.
