JR Smith is exactly what we needed? We needed a tool forcing his offense? What we need is guys who can pass the ball, not throw up more bad shots.

We broke up a team full of good defensive players because of that garbage mindset. You need guys who can play both ways.

Thats true but the people that want lee also want Ellis along with him...we're improving our defense with those two players

People don't realize what an awful defender Lee is. Ellis is a guy that can get after it, but Lee just sucks as a defender. I still don't understand why people keep thinking we can get either of them. We don't have very much value on this team player wise. As for the people that want JR Smith. Do people really think we need another chucker on this team?

I'm only interested in Lee by himself if we're signing Nash
That being said, I'm not sure that many would be able to argue against taking on Lee's contract if we can get him and Ellis together (assuming that an Ellis would confirm Dwight resigning).

We have some serious serious issues at the pg position and back up center position that need to be addressed immediately before we even talk about bringing in JR Smith. You can change the team the way Otis did and turn it into a bunch of non defensive playing shooters and not bring in a pg that can penetrate and distribute the ball. That's the biggest problem here this team is built for a distributing pg and we don't have one. If we had one we could just bench Hedo and start Qrich for his defense.
And Big fat sack of crap Davis might actually turn out to be the worse decision of the Otis Smith regime.

We still have delusional fans talking about getting Monta Ellis?
Why not just trade Jameer for D-Wade or Q-Rich for Carmelo?

I mean, if you do something risky like start trading unprotected picks. . .I'm sure that GSW think that dwight is leaving and next years pick will be pretty good. . .

Since Nash wont request a trade im hopping on the Sessions bandwagon. S Jax & Sessions could bring a couple players who would actually attack the rim to this team instead of jacking up 19 threes in ONE half hahaha

Its amazing SVG has gotten what he's gotten out out Hedo in the past. Made him look like an all star in our 09 run, but that was his peak as a player.
Jameer seems to be the same. Injuries have hurt him.

whats with the Q hate... brings toughness, hustle, defense, is improving from 3pt land, and gives outstanding rebounding from the SF all while being a quality person and great cheerleader.
he's getting paid $2,446,200 this year... Q is not the problem.
