Yeah, but in Baby's defense, his high USG% is a direct correlation of playing with Doo-hon. Not that he doesn't possess the trigger happy syndrome at times, but I'm sure it gets stimulated more-so when he's in the game with the bench unit seeing how he always gets the ball with the shot clock dwindling down.

unbelieveable. Are we trying to lose in the first round of the PO's?

Wait wait wait, are you implying that switching out BBD for Brockman loses the first round? Perhaps this is news to you but BBD sucks. Bad. Brockman is a far superior offensive rebounder and wouldn't use 22% of our offensive possessions when he's in the game. HUGE net positive right there.

What this guy said :D

Anything to get rid of BBD and Duhon is an addition by subtraction IMO

That post about Otis and Hedo was gold, it illustrates why Otis is such a TERRIBLE GM
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

And you think it increases our chances of getting past it? Brockman wouldn't use 22% of our offensive possessions because he provides zero offense...Huge net positive from the damn bench.

No, I dont think downgrading is the answer. I thought the end goal was to get better in addition to convincing Dwight to stay. Dont think moving a guy that he requested, and who's had some big games in the PO's in case you've forgotten already is the way to do that. I dont believe it, our bench cant score as it is and you want to move Baby for Brockman? come on man. Jon Brockman...smh Big Baby Davis >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jon Brockman i nevery aspect of life.

"In nearly every aspect of life" except basketball. He is an upgrade over BBD as an energy big, he gets paid $1,000,000 to Baby's $6,000,000, and he is much less likely to hurt the offense. In fact, his offensive rebounding would help out greatly, that is exactly the skill set we need in a back up 4/5. This is all for the sake of argument, I don't have insider and I don't know the full parameters of the Hollinger trade proposal. But both long-term and short-term I'm taking Brockman over BBD right now and not losing any sleep.

I dont believe people are discussing who is the best one: Brockman or BBD.

Compared to brockmans 27%?.... gee I have no idea....and why does everyone blow everything i say out of proportion? Me "I think Beasley would really help this team offensively" response: "Why does everyone think Michael Beasley is our savior"

I'm not high on either of those guys why does everyone pretend Brockman is some super offensive rebounding machine? He avgs 1 per game. I can understand people overrating him since we played them a bunch of times this year if he had good games. but he didn't..He sucked.

right, they both suck... I'll take Davis's potential in the po's and his defense over Brockmans energy any day.
