Its insane, but we deserve this after all this years right ? I am still very cautious about his play, but his finishes after contact, vision, passes and instincts remind me of Lebron-lite guard. Skill set of a star,

Someone said his stats line up closest with Bledsoe, projecting forward. I could see him being that type of player.

Well i think its a fair comparison for his skill set NOW. Still Markelle is much bigger, longer, MUCH better shooter up until 3 point line, better passer, better feel for the game. All of it being 21 year old to Bledsoe 30 and after not playing competetice basketball for almost 2 years. Bledsoe is a starter on a contender. Now imagine what happens when his off the dribble 3 point shooting comes back...... If he is really healthy and there is no nerve damage it will come back.

Even before this season, his stats lined up favorably to pre-injury Shaun Livingston's. It was so weird to me how much people tried to deny his overall talent level; they tried to make it seem as though his best-case scenario was as some Kyrie type of player who would be completely worthless without a three-point shot.

Not familiar with TOS, but i believe TOS is there forever. I think he just a different approach this season. Which is to go around the TOS by changing his stroke. Which in previous years, he tried to shoot the same stroke but was sore his stroke got affected.

His midrange jumper is looking more and more like his college jumper. He was shooting 3’s with the same form this summer. Hopefully he’s making real progress with his rehab.

Its not like TOS is there forever. He has tendency for sure but its not like its a non curable disease. If he rehabbed this area and changed his daily routine i dont think it bothers him now unless there is some nerve damage

i think the range of motion on midrange jumpers isnt necessarily affected by his tos, based on what ive seen from highlights with the sixers. In fact, I dont remember him struggling shooting midrange in motion. I think most or all of his troubles have been in stationary position, 3 pointers and free throws. Which i would say is far from his college shooting stroke.

He has definitely gone a long way since his rookie year. Hopefully his health continue to trend up, his shot will also.

First 20-point game for us, time to get his first double-double and then a triple!

Baby steps, baby!

All I remember thinking in that draft was that no player was deserving of #1, lol. I thought it was looking like such a weak draft, which has largely been true so far. Wasn't all that impressed with Fultz at the time, though I hadn't watched him much. Now I'm praying he proves me wrong and that #1 talent comes through big time.

For a (basically) rookie pg, given the amount of minutes and usage, his consistency has been kind of remarkable on both ends. Scored in double figures in 14/20 games. Only 3/20 games with more than 3 turnovers in a game.

Markelle is the reason for me to be excited about this team going forward. Him and JI..

One thing that you won’t see on the stat sheet is how much Fultz is always looking for the hot hand or looking to reward the teammate who just made a hustle play. I like that mindset.

Also he disrupts a lot of passes and contests a lot of shots on the perimeter coming to help or rotating over.

I think he will win games for us in the near future!

Right now he's 100% playing within Cliff's system and doing exactly what Cliff wants. Which is great and what he should be doing in his first 82 games. But I'm excited for a year or two from now when he's given the keys and running the show on offense.

I’m not innocent of pulling the “I told you so” card on the Fultz haters but at the end of the day, as long as true Magic fans come back in support of the good things he is doing for this team today and into the future ... it’s all good.

Penny is my favourite player so if after so many years we will have a star point guard it will be dream come true.

Shooting form keeps improving:
Read on Twitter

He hasn't shot this cleanly in the game but hopefully this is what is coming next. Looks more Steph than it does his Washington form, but looks more fluid than what we're currently seeing in the game regardless.

He’s one of the most fluid and composed guards we’ve ever had here. Definitely has star potential and I’m very very happy he’s with us. Lmao at the bitter Philly fans.
