Knightro wrote:This whole "Carter has played PF and could do so again" thing is just a misnomer.

When he shared the court with Bamba, Bamba defended the PFs (very poorly I might add) and Carter was also the guy involved as the primary screener/dribble hand off guy offensively in the 1/5 action with Bamba planted in a corner or on the wing.

Like maybe they listed Carter as the 4 and Bamba as the 5, but it was the opposite when you actually watched what they were being asked to do.

I think that only proves that Bamba is capable of guarding neither spot...WCJ can definitely play the 4 in a monster lineup or with a finesse, outside shooting C like Bamba or KP (obviously wouldn't start over Paolo but could cover both spots well)

Lol two point guards that absolutely can’t shoot a three point shot. Blacks release is SOOOOO slow, I’d feel very bad for Paolo is this was to be the case.

To be honest. I think I’d just take a break from the nba for a while.

Not sure this makes sense. They love Fultz AND want to add guards that can't shoot to play next to him?

Maybe the black stuff is all bs. Who knows. It's all smoke and mirrors season.

I think the Black stuff is just people on the outside seeing him as our type. I haven't heard any actual sources saying anything about him being our guy.

Sounds about right. Sustained mediocrity is best path for any front office to never get fired. Worked for Hammond for 16 years now. Is there any GM ever that held job for near 20 years with 0 playoff series won? :o

If the do add Black there's no way Fultz is sticking around surely?

Depressing to see us sit on our hands for another trade window. Hopefully Statler snd Waldorf will spring into life briefly at some point this week.

This would be the single worst thing i heard for a while. Damaged role player who is afraid to shoot is taking us nowhere. I am not too much attached to any of our guards but Fultz should be first to go. I have nothing against Black. His defense and feel for the game are intriguing at his size. For me he has more potential than Fultz.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Black is one of the few consensus lottery guys I really, really do not like. I hope he doesn't end up in Orlando.

I would much prefer Ausar even with his flaws.
