I'm expecting a blowout loss to the Bulls followed by Devos/Martins collectively pulling the trigger on a deal sending Dwight packing.

I'd say the chance of that trade being us bringing in someone to help keep Dwight stay is <1%.

Yeah, I think we all think something is going to happen.....probably tomorrow.

I just can't help but feel that we won't show up for this game.

I like it, but I think Utah asks for a little more. Not much more, but maybe add a draft pick.

+1 I would love to see this happen in a heartbeat.

nice looking deal. I would like to see Jefferson as our starting PF though. Probably more than having Ellis IMO

I don't think the Magic do anything. They don't have enough assets to acquire a real difference maker such as Monta, so why break up the current team chemistry? Say what you will, but this team somehow is still a top four seed and capable of beating anyone as long as the threes are going down.

I also think they gamble and don't trade Dwight. None of the offers we have heard about are very good and would only turn the Magic into a .500 team for the next few years. I think Cuban will lure Deron to Dallas in the offseason and Dwight will basically be stuck with Orlando. I think he will opt in for his final year and see what moves the Magic make next summer when they have capspace.

Dwight has been silent of late on the trade talk. I believe that as the season progresses and he spends more time with his teammates and less with his "handlers" he is starting to come back to Earth.

Something is imminent and it's not going to be to Dwight's liking. I don't have the details of what deal has been communicated to Dwight, but I spoke with one of his best friends, and to be quite honest they feel like the organizations is FULLY disrespecting him with what they are about to do, and his camp isn't happy about it at all. Your guess is as good as mine as to where they're shipping him too, but you can pretty sure it's not going to be to Jay's borough.

I will be very disappointed if our roster will be exactly the same the day after the deadline. Believing this exact roster can win a championship is just delusional

This roster needs improvement. There are enough players available who could help us a lot.

If we don't make a trade, Dwight will be gone. We have to do something. It's either improve this roster & go all-in but atleast show the world we're still trying to win OR go into the playoffs with this roster AGAIN and face the same problems AGAIN (playmaking, defense) but this time with bigger consequences.

If Dwight would walk as a FA, this team will be set back for years & I'm sure NOBODY is waiting for that to happen. Taking the gamble & not trading him is ok, but in that case you have to atleast make some moves, cause as of right now we're gonna face Atlanta AGAIN and, as I already said, we're gonna face the same problems AGAIN and get knocked out of the playoffs in the first round AGAIN

We all wanna see Dwight stay in Orlando. But to get that done, this team needs changes, and from the bottom of my heart as a Magic fan, I really hope we're gonna see some changes between now and March 15th.

And if not, as much as it would hurt us & especially our owner Mr. Devos, trade him.

If we trade Dwight, we ABSOLUTELY MUST, dump every bad contract we can so we can at least have hope of chasing free agents soon.

Juicy.
I am not buying this however.

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

I am not saying you are, it could simply be a ploy to get him to opt in.
I'll take a stab in the dark.

Boston wouldn't surprise me at all. Otis has always said that his number one priority was the franchise. If he's getting back Rondo for Dwight, Orl still has a young All-Star and a piece to build around. We'll see.

^ Houston is my guess, lowry/martin/dalembert/1st's for hedo/meer/dwight leaves us with, Lowry is a big upgrade at the 1 and IMO Martin is an upgrade over JRich plus a couple picks and dumping Hedo

He is not being traded. How many of these reports have come out already from credible people who claim something is going down? No one knows anything when it comes to this situation.

Where is the list of those teams who are willing to "rent" Dwight? My guess is to one of those teams. And if he feels totally disrespected, well that's too bad, how they F does he think Magic fans and his teammates felt thru his whole circus? I hope this crap gets over with fast.

It could also be this. I just know Dwight's not happy about it whatever it is.

I trust who I spoke too, so yeah it's no concrete, but it's close.

Not surprising. It might look really bad on the organization though to other players. We'll see how this pans out. I'm just tired of this circus. Get him out or get him help.

That would be the DUMBEST thing we can do if we didn't get a commitment from him. Shaq all over again and we have read quotes from the magic brass saying they won't allow for the same thing to happen again.

Jernigan, I am not saying I do not believe that you spoke to a friend of his. But, I am not sure anyone really knows anything. He could have honestly just been playing you.

Also, "Something is imminent" usually means that same day. So I guess we will know before the Bulls game. Because if this is true, and it is close and Dwight is pissed, he will not play tonight.
