Not good that has to mean Dwight told him hes signin there next season no matter what why else would he stay on that garbage team

more money than Mavs could give. like 1 extra year and extra 26 mil. That's all.

I hope so and i hope him and Brooklyn lose 50+ every year

Remember when it was breaking news that Dwight was going to sign the extension with the Magic and we all went bananas in joy?

Yup. I'll believe it when it's done.

Just curious as to why we would want this trade? Wouldn't this give us more salary next season?

Hedo will be an expiring next year, we should just stick with him another year. We need to find a taker for J-Poor.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

If Hedo just got into shape he would be tolerable to me.....this year he was just out of shape...jello with arms and legs......maybe if he was lighter on his feet he could get by some people....but if we can trade him somehow....do it...

J Rich is the least of our problems. He's a solid vet with a reasonable contract. He could easily help a contending team or a rebuilding team by taking pressure off a young gun.

not quite. Hedo will count $6 mil towards the cap the following year if he's cut. I still say you trade him and our 19th pick for an expiring. Turn around and trade JRich for a bag of chips and get ready for a great FA in 2013 8-)

not sure if this was posted, but mock draft 9.2 on ESPN has us taking sullinger at 19 based on him being best player available at that time.

Some teams want to grab a first round pick. If it happens to be a team that doesn't attract FA's anyways, I don't see why they wouldn't take on hedo's contract ($18 mil) for the 19th pick and cash (for a player that is costing them $10-12 mil next year).

Get used to not hearing about much. You don't hear Thunder/Spurs rumors for a reason.

This.

I think things are going to be a lot more tight lipped under this new regime so we may not know anything until it actually happens. Sucks for us as fans cause we certainly want to know what direction we are going to take but I have faith Henny will get things back on track.

This.

Although, I heard that the report that Hennigan is meeting with Dwight after the draft is false. Not false that they won't meet, but false as in no one knows when they will.

Which actually makes me curious if they have communicated already or not.

I'm not so sure about this. I'm sure we would be gathering the same type of info/rumors if we followed the Thunder and Spurs the way we follow this team.

Anybody else think this may have been on of the contributing factors to the ENTIRE housecleaning that just occurred? I mean literally almost NOBODY is left but Martins and the Devos' from the major pieces of the front office. What I mean is....anybody else think Hennigan was basically escorting the mole out of his hole, whoever he may have been?
