We should have a team just good enough to get us the 7th or 8th pick. :banghead:

David Aldridge ‏@daldridgetnt
Pick details 4 Orlando in Howard trade: future first from Philly (w/protection), lower of Denver's 2 firsts (NY) in '14, Lakers' 2017 first.

John Hollinger ‏@johnhollinger

I guess Iguodala just had more trade value than Dwight

that sucks; can't even get the higher pick of Denver's 2 firsts. SMH

Who cares about this year? What we should be looking at is Wiggins in 2014. Maybe we can swap picks with the Clippers or something because now that they are the B-Squad again I don't know if CP3 stays.

Team knew we were ultimately desperate and used that against the Magic IMO.

Yikes, those picks suck hard. None the less, I'm honestly just happy to have this over and done with and we can move forward. I'm excited for next season, we should see a lot of our young guys getting chances to prove their worth. I wanted a full blown rebuild, I preferred what Houston had to offer but oh well I guess. LET"S GO MAGIC!

problems:
1- this team is actually playoff bound with 8 or 7th seed, which means midiocrity here we come
2- we wont pick high lottery so forget OKC style of rebuilding.
3- it makes Nets offer look like a brilliant offer

man im depressed. If the whole world can see how horrible of a deal this is, you are telling me that Rob cant?

I think the general assumption moving forward was "rebuild mode" from the gate, right? Unload contracts, bring in youth/picks/assets.

Some of you guys wanted a "tank" this season, in hopes for a lottery pick.

Looks like all of the above is happening..

The biggest problem I have is the quality of ( or lack thereof) the draft picks.

I can understand that, I just saw the exact nature of the picks and kinda smh too. I'm just ready to move on from the Dwight era.

People who are calling Afflalo a bad contract have really never seen him play.

Not a bad contract, but he's nothing but an average SG, we get nothing from this but to tank

Yeah I don't see us being 7th or even 8th seed. We will be down near the bottom.

Think we also have to see what we exactly get in this deal...
