So on Thursday we should have 4, 7 and 8? sweet T!++!es! 8-)

7 and Nash for 12?

8 and Terry for Afflalo?

All we need is Dirk and we would have the Dallas Mavericks 1978 team runited again to go along with Embiid, Smart and Gordan.

Im down :D

@ESPNSteinLine: One source insists nothing imminent, but I'm told Pistons and Kings have discussed a trade that would send Josh Smith to Sacramento

You'd have to think Afflalo has more value than Smith, right?

Just saw Chad ford on espn. Why is Utah's offer which has favors as the centerpiece being considered the best offer on the table? Favors isn't anything great and neither is his deal.

I think 4,12 and AA is a better offer personally and if i were rob I'd try hard as hell to bluff my way out of giving up that 12th pick but would probably ultimately fold at the last minute n give it to them to get the deal done.

LET'S GO, ROB.

@ESPNSteinLine: Immediate focus for Kings, though, is dealing No. 8 pick, which looks increasingly inevitable between now and Thursday's draft proceedings

Didnt the Kings just spend like two weeks wining and dining Gay so he would stay in S-town? Seems silly to trade him after that.

Hey guys

I do have a realistic scenario that could pan out:

What if the magic trade up and somehow convince the bucks to trade the number 2 pick for number 4 and number 12 and next years 1st rounder. If cavs take Parker, Magic would get wiggins.

We still need a pg and the magic wouldnt have any draft picks. Then what if we trade afflalo, and nelson for 16, 19 and Gibson. Bulls get a proven sg and could use nelson contract and waive him to save 6 million and use that money towards melo or lebron. It would allow them to sign one of them if they amnesty boozer. The magic would then draft ennis or levine with the newly acquired 19 and maybe rodney hood at 16 if he falls.

Magic starting lineup would be:

Ennis or levine
Oladipo
Wiggins
Gibson
Vucevic

We would be very young but that is maybe a 37 win team.

I know its a stretch but its brtter than a lot of the laughable one sided trades I bave read on here

Another option woild be to draft exum, vonleh, or embid if he falls to us at 4. Then trade afflalo, nelson to bulls for Gibson and number 16. Magic then could possibly trade 12 and 16 to move up in draft again for a top 10 pick. Paytons draft stock is climbing. If we draft a big guy we need a pg. Maybe we can trade our 12th and 16th for 9th or 10. We could end up with vonleh and payton or embiid and payton or exum and saric and stash him in europe for 2 years . A lot of options we can look at.

If Embiid drops to us at 4, I'm gonna be psyched.

It's a bit steep for two spots. The Magic pick next year is likely to be top 10 at least. Maybe if you lottery protect it. Also think we could do better than the 16 and 19th for Afflalo. I'd rather get one single higher pick so we can go after a guy like Payton.

This Is my fear...and it could happen. If magic trade afflalo, 4th and 12th to the cavs for the 1st. We draft wiggins....where is our pg of the future. We dont have really anymore tradeable assets. We are stuck witb nelson again. Trading nelson alone wont give us a mid 1st rounder. I want payton..payton will go somewhere between 10-14

Trade idea:

Before Draft trade:
Nelson to Lakers for Nash and 7th
That is just a salary dump for LA.

Affalo to Charlotte for 9th.

Draft day trade:

Number 4,9,12 pick to the Cave for 1.

Then the magic has the 1st and 7th picks.

Ok, so my unrealistic hopes for this draft.

We trade the 4-12 and Lakers owed first for 1.

We trade AA for 8 from Sac.

We absorb Nash and get the 7 for Nelson.

We end up with the 1, 7, and 8. We can draft them or try and use the 7 and 8 to move up if desired.

Build a statue for Henny.

Marc stein is convinced kings will trade 8th pick. It makes sense if theg are making trade with pistons. I would do afflalo for 8th

:noway:

I wonder when's the last time the top 5 of a draft played out to what was projected in the media? I'm holding strong in faith that Embiid (or Vonleh) goes top 3 and Exum falls to us.
