Re: Behind the Scenes of Turner's Testing
The draft is such a crapshoot man you just never really know for sure who will hit and who will not. I mean just like the poster above said, Draymond Green i believe was a second rounder and he's about to get max money. Jimmy Butler who i think was drafted 30th, about to get max money so i think it's fair game man there seems to be a seperation of talent after than 4th pick so it's arguable who we're going to select. It could be Winslow or it could even be Turner you never know, especially with Henny i can probably count on one hand how many of us around here predicted we would select AG at #4 last year.

Surprise Scenarios That Could Alter the Course of the 2015 NBA Draft
Somebody Gets Bold About Myles Turner

If you're looking for a prospect who ticks off all of the important next-generation-NBA-big-man boxes, Texas' Myles Turner is your man.
Turner sports a 7'4" wingspan, an insane block rate of 12.3 percent and a silky jumper in which he has limitless confidence. He was one of just eight Division I players to post a block rate of at least 12 percent last year (among those logging at least 700 minutes), per Sports-Reference.com, and he was the only one in that group to knock down double-digit threes on the year.
The stretch 4 is so 2014. Turner profiles as a legitimate stretch 5.
There's also this tidbit from Turner, who responded to Hoops Hype's Raul Barrigon on the topic of comparisons toLaMarcus Aldridge and Anthony Davis: "Well, I think that's very accurate. I think my game could be more similar to Aldridge, but I feel my body is developing more like AD."
All right, that sounds like something most NBA teams would be interested in. Given his size, range and in-demand skills, someone's going to have to explain to me why ESPN.com's Chad Ford has him going 12th to the Utah Jazz and Draft Express has him landing with the Indiana Pacers at No. 11.
Floor spacing and rim protection are basically the most important aspects of NBA basketball today, and Turner figures to help his team immensely in both areas.
There's going to be a squad out there that recognizes his value, and if it's a team with a top-five or top-seven pick, not only will it be a smart move, it'll also be one that sends shockwaves through the rest of the draft.

Re: Behind the Scenes of Turner's Testing
I hope we get to hear somethings about Turner's workouts, there always seems to be a player that will get the GM's raving because of their workouts. It was Lillard one year, Payton last draft and it might be Turner you never know because if you look at everything he can do when you take his toolbox(what he can do now) and his potential(what he could do later) on pure talent he's a top 5 pick to me.

Despite all of this, Turner is ranked just ninth overall on Chad Ford’s Big Board and 11th on DraftExpress. Any team that picks him in that range would be getting a steal and potentially someone who could end up being the best player in the draft. Turner has a unique skill set not matched by many in recent memory.

Actually I like most of the top 10 except Mario/mudiay, but Turner has a mega high ceiling, hard to pass on him

I love Turners skills. I just want to see how fast he can be. Can he one day handle NBA back and forth.
The future is bright
Payton said. ``I just want to keep getting better and maybe one day I can be the all-time all assists leader for the Magic.’’

The only concern about turner for me are injuries and long term endurance because of his running,i fear about his knees.

This has been cleared by report he is as injury prone as anybody else

I'm all in on Turner and Winslow. Myles is going to be the next Jermain O'neal.

Myles Turner is known as a nice rim protector/defender, though when I watch him, his feet are really slow and he can't move side to side. Should I be worried?
Chad Ford 1:27 PM ET
He's been working on it. Talking to his trainer in Vegas, he never really was taught how to run. I know that sounds weird, but when you watch him, it rings true. I'm told he looks dramatically better. It was just about teaching technique and getting his legs a little stronger. He's doing a big workout on Friday in Vegas in front of a ton of NBA execs. I'll be there. We'll see. If he's fixed that, he's a very intriguing prospect. The first 9 or so guys in this draft are very talented. I really like the draft the closer we get to it.

Turners my dark horse. He'd solve a couple of problems. Can't wait to see his improved mobility.

Climbing climbing
8. Myles Turner, 19, 7-0, 240, PF/C, Texas
Up two spots from version 1.0. He helped himself quite a bit at the combine. Several league sources trumpeted his interviews. Plus, he’s just a big dude: 6-11½ in shoes with a 7-4 wingspan and a standing reach of 9-4. Those were all top of the combine measurements. He also had big hand length and width. He was inconsistent at Texas, but he averaged 2.6 blocks and hit 83.9 percent from the line.
