I had no real problem with it. There is no meat at all in these media days anyway. It's just preseason positivity, and "what did you do this summer" type stuff.

The media was there actually, but this is not a sexy team right now. If they start winning games and being the athletic, up tempo, ball sharing team I can picture in my head, then they will get a lot more attention.

I honestly am just hoping to see a lineup of Elfrid/Evan or Ross/Simmons/Gordon and Isaac at some point. I hope to hear that Isaac plays some 5 even in practice this week.

I miss the Magic teams that pushed the envelope in terms of play style. When you have a unicorn 7 footer like Isaac and a bulldog like Gordon, do you really need a C?

Anyway, the good stuff starts today. Yesterday was just fluff.

I am actually happy the front office has come to the realization that this team is lacking top talent and is not making stupid playoff proclamations. Guess they got tired of embaressing themselves.

It was coming from higher up, the owner and his puppet.

Isaac IMO is 3rd string right now and I doubt he makes it out of there until an injury or if we suck, later on after the AS break.

What are you talking about? 3rd string? No. He will get his minutes. Frank already said this,

Right now in training camp this is what is happening IMO:

EP/Fournier/Simmons/AG/Vucevic
DJ/Afflalo/Ross/Hezonja/Biyombo
Mack/Iwundu/Isaac/Rudez/Speights

Vogel going straight to Simmons over Ross? Kind of doubt that at this point.
I'd prefer Isaac ahead of Hezonja... but he's probably going to forced to take a back seat for a while.
Hopefully Mack plays well enough to steal DJ's spot.

It looks like he's running

EP/Mack/Fournier/AG/Vuc so who knows at this point.

Elfrid-Mack-Evan-Gordon-Vuc vs DJ-Simmons-Mario-Isaac-Speights

Looks like practice has Payton/Mack/Fournier/Gordon/Vucevic vs. Augustin/Simmons/Hezonja/Isaac/Speights.

EDIT: Beaten to the punch.

Isaac is so good at D. He's going to get his minutes just due to this.

Also looks like they are doing 3 squads and resting one while 2 play, then rotate. Pretty standard.

Nice energy from Mario there to get that dunk off the tip off. Isaac with a tipped pass. Mack looking like he's already regretting coming here lol.

Hezonja and Isaac were booking it. really exciting to see players of that size with that kind of speed.

Issac is a project, and its really likely that you won't see much from him (Offensively at least) until the end of this season going into next. Even then I feel its a stretch that he'll be "ready" then for the team to get him some consistent reps on offense.

Yes nice aggression he's got to get after it like that. And liked the deflection by Isaac that's where he's going to be able to help out right away on defense.
