He apparently lost some pounds from the first year. Looks quicker, more agile, and most important more confident now.

One thing that worries me is his low assist numbers. He plays better but more selfish. Its some kind of trend players follow on this team.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

I'm not Mario's biggest fan, but I'll say this... He's finally showing signs of improvement and I'd rather have him at $5M than Fournier at $17M.

Do you watch the games on League Pass at all because Hezonja looks to be the one guy on Magic that actually tries to to move the ball on offense. There's a lot of selfish play by the Magic players but it's not from Mario.

Much easier to feel confident about yourself when you don't have a bum knee holding you back like last year for Mario.

With all the 'pain' the Magic fanbase has had to suffer since losing Shaq... I hope the front office and Super Mario can reconcile things and he signs a long-term deal with you guys. I mean that sincerely.

He keeps getting better and better. Didn't really care for Vogel's press conference regarding his place in the rotation but hopefully he will do the right thing and start Mario while Simms goes back to the bench where he belongs. Have to find a way to resign this guy and continue to develop him...

When you say... didn't care for vogels press conference regarding his place in rotation, who are you referring to? What did doofus Vogel say this time?

Starts at the 1:17 mark where he talks about that he's earned minutes with his play as of late and will try to play him at the SF/PF positions and integrate him, AG and Isaac in a rotation for those two spots. Not really sure why those three cannot play together but Frank gonna Frank. The question that we have is that does he have the balls to demote Jonathon Simmons back to the bench and promote Mario to the starting lineup? I don't think that he does honestly.

This is why I want this guy gone... like you just said... why can't those 3 play together... just try the damn lineup and see what's up.

Isaac has gained some weight and I think he should start being developed as a center when he gets back... especially if their planning on resigning Gordon. Season is over with so why not even try it... there's nothing to lose

I agree... Vogel doesn't have the basketballs to put Simmons back on the bench. I just can't believe there are people in here that still want to stay with Vogel, a coach for the team who doesn't have any basketballs...

Mario shows something new every game. I really didn't see this comming and to be honest i didn't know he is capalbe of playing this well at nba level.
Last night 0 turnovers, should have been 6 assists at least if BIyombo can just catch a damn ball.

Mario will have to play some 2 guard or 1 guard with the addition of Mo Bamba next season! :D

THANK YOU!!! I've been saying this since the first slew of injuries. I like simmons.... but i think he is muccccch better coming off the bench than as a starter. The way he plays is the type of player you want to lead a bench squad. Hezonja should be slotted at the 3. It would have never hurt to have just........................returned simmons to the bench... the place he started the season at and the guy was locked into a contract for 3 years. Part of Weham's evaluation of the team should have started on the right foot back then. And maybe we woulddd not have been in this predicament with mario!

i don't know, i guess that guy who checks stats thought ball went off Hornets player.

btw last year i was waiting Lou Williams to score 15 points or more to win $600 and for whatever reason goaltending basket that he scored was counted as " team points" instad of his and , naturally he scored 14
Hate that stats people, they will award guys like Lebron with assist if he passes halfcourt and other guy takes 5 dribbles ,drives and score, others only get assists when other guy takes 1 dribble before shooting/scoring.

Wouldn't be surprised if we ended up having to trade Evan for a pick swap to move up and grab the PG everyone knows we now need. That would open up the SG spot for Mario if he decided to stick around..
