Yep. Wanted us to throw $80-100 mil/4 yrs at him but that dream died after our draft.... would have still done it myself and made moves this summer.

Paolo's playing a pretty thankless role offensively. A lot of screening and not a lot of rewarding.

Paolo would be a hell of a prospect if he was super raw offensively and just based off his size and agility. Add in he does have some really good foundational skills.

Yall got a legit franchise cornerstone with him and Franz to build around.

Discussing positional versatility on this board is one of the more hair-pulling experiences I have, even with posters I respect. I don't think any other board is more rigid in that regard because I lurk a lot of boards but only here do people freak out about playing small-ball or playing 3 guards (which we did often last season) or anything that isn't 90's purist level lineups.

Absolutely no reason he can’t with shooters around him. His passing and unselfishness would be well utilized at the 5. Only problem I see is that he isn’t a great rebounder. He boxes out his man but Franz can’t play the 4 in that small ball unit due to his lack of rebounding too. Would still love to see it sprinkled in depending on matchups.
